  • Clean your vagina out with plain water and mild soap, don't use anything that will disrupt the natural flora down there. For instance, many girls will douche bag their vagina, and while it gets rid of all the funky bacteria down there it also gets rid of all the good and natural bacteria that serves as s balance and fights odor causing germs. With the elimination of good bacteria, odor causing bacteria grows rapidly again, leaving a rotting stinky fishy stench coming out from your twat and may even lead to some vaginal infections.

  • There is a normal vaginal microbiome that fights opportunistic infections.Bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections and Gardnerella vaginalis. A principal flora is lactobacilli which produces a milky fragrance. I would not use it. Wash out well in the tub (no soap) or use a pH wash made for the purpose. Your antibacterial soap may "burn" and kill the good bacteria.

  • NO! There is good bacteria that lives in your vagina that protects it. When you use anti-bacterial soap it kills off both, and so your vagina looses the protective bacteria. Anti-bacterial soap is also too strong for that delicate part of your body. It throws off the balance. It's best to use plain, unscented soap (Dove soap works great).

    • Just like Enchanted said, you don't even need soap. NEVER put soap up in your vagina... you can use soap on outer skin though. Just don't use anti bacterial.

    • Stick with a VERY mild, unscented soap.

  • I have washed with antibacterial for 15 years. It's amazing. I know it kills good bacteria, but my body found a balance. I rarely get yeast infections and it never smells. And I can run for an hour and it is still fresh, and so clean. Maybe I'm blessed with a perfect vagina, or maybe it's the soap.

  • Not really, just rinse with warm water. By you using antibacterial soap you're getting rid of the good and necessary bacteria that your vagina needs to be healthy. The vagina is self-cleaning, so you don't need to take any other extra measures.
