  • I know how you feel in some way, and I am 25. First of all, why do you need to go?, is something very serious?, is something related with having sexual relations?

Second, are your parents closed or open-minded?, well, are your parents nervous people?

You have to gain the courage to go with the gynecologist, either you tell them or not if the problem is really serious. Your parents have to know that you are not a girl anymore and that the body changes that you have are fairly normal. Eg. it would be very worrying if you are 19 and you still haven't had your period, that would be something to worry about.

Also, you must relax. Try to tell them in a very gentle way if they need to know. Or you could look for your friends' support if you trust them so they can back you with your parents.

    • well I experienced a problem during physical intamcy and did some research ab it every thing tells me to basically "run to the doctor". so I don't know but I think I cud tell my parents wats wrong with me and tell them a different way of how I found out. because it has to do with a body disfunction not sex

    • Thinking in your health is good, just think about this phrase. And as I told you, try to find a gentle way to talk about your worries to your parents. Good luck!

  • You are on her insurance hun. There is no way that you can go without them knowing. Just talk to you mom about the situation. I'm quite sure she will understand. Believe me, She has been in your shoes before. She will probably be upset at first but she will get over it and will be happy that you went to her for help. If you are saying the situation is serious I suggest you talk to your mom ASAP... like today.

    Hope I helped you! :)

    • well there is a way to tell her my problem without telling how I found out ab my problem like I cud just change the way I found out

    • OK. Well I wish you the best of luck with your situation. Make the right choice. :)

  • youre 19...you're allowed to have all the sex you want, as far as the government in ocncenred (in teh us at least) once you hit 18 you're an adult. I would just go in...if your mom asks why just say you went in to ask some questions, the doctor cannot legally give your mom information WITHOUT your permission, regardless if you're on their insurance...she needs your permission if you're over 18

  • dont be scared...you're just going to work yourself up for nothing...wait for the resutls...GOOD LUCK!

  • ask your mum to take you, I'm pretty sure she will understand

    • welll its juat somthing that happened while I was having sex, and I am not allowed to have sex
