Girls, What makes you sexually excited or turned on?

Obviously foreplay does but what other things make you wet without doing anything physically sexual? Us guys are pretty visual when it comes to getting a hard on (turned on). If we see a girl with a nice body we get sexually turned on or excited which equals a boner. Some guys can actually hold it back though...it depends how sexually turned on the guy is. DO ALL GIRLS GET SEXUALLY TURNED ON OR WET JUST BY SEEING A GUYS NICE BOD WITH HIS SHIRT OFF OR WHAT? What kinds of things get you turned on. Just thinking about the guy? Seeing the guy your attracted to with his shirt off? The way he touches you when he hugs you? I get turned on just by looking at a girl I'm really really attracted to sexually..It's all visual, it's how us guys were made. But how do you girls get sexually turned on? I have no idea what it's like to be a girl so I don't know. Could you girls answer this? Thanks!

  • when I'm with someone I tend to not get aroused by other guys, even if theyre 'hot'. me personally, my brain gets hard wired to my boyfriend and I get very easily turned on by things my boyfriend does, says, when he touches me - even if not done in any sexual way.

    it doesn't matter if he's clothed or not clothed. its just all about him. also when we're apart, things that remind me of him, like if I smell a cologne on another guy that is like his, I get turned on, not by the guy but by the thoughts it provokes of my boyfriend.

    i find visual doesn't really get me excited. like it doesn't matter what he wears, I could walk past a fit topless guy I don't know and I don't get turned on by it because he's just not my boyfriend and the only body I care about seeing is his. (im sure this kind of thing must link into girls insecurities with p*rn, where men look at other womens bodies, when they don't feel that same need or get aroused in that visual manner.)

    i definitely agree with answers already posted and what they say about causes of sexual arousal. hearing is voice, the things he says and how he says them etc.

  • Depends on which mood I am in.

    My personality is complex, so is my mind, and therfore what turns it on at any given time is also subjective. Rarely however, having to do with his "bod" (how half witted).

    I've gotten turned on

    - watching from the side while he shaved.

    -wearing his sweater with his scent on it to bed

    -the thought of him angry at me, and thefore more agressive (actualy taunted him to it too LOL)

    - just thinking about beign tipsy on tequila and ravaging him (likewise dancing for him)

    -thinking about waking up spooning in the morning

    - watching him drive, really well (controlled, fast, proffesionaly)...i like to be taken for a ride

    -seeing him serious and composed, maybe even teaching something

    -when he stands near me protectively

    - when he touches me, firmly or lightly depending on the situation (knowing exact firmness)

    -when he looks at me, in certain ways, no need for words

    -when he does his manly things, does business, gets things accomplished, organized

    • a lot actualy, the dim ones. generaly the higher their iq, the more complex. Ofcourse this also involves their range of interests, exposure to the world, level of culture,sexual awareness, emotional developement etc.

  • Years ago, I would have said nice, muscular, six pack abs on a guy and a handsome face, but now apparently I am more turned on by if I have good intellectual rapport with a guy, but also I'm still turned on by the physical appearances, but not as much as I used to be.

    Sensual scenes in movies sometimes do the trick. Or even steamy make out scenes.

    Not all girls get sexually turned on or wet just by seeing a guys nice bod with his shirt off, but sometimes that does it for me! But other times, I get turned on by a guy if he has his shirt and pants on..and if I already have an emotional crush on the guy(not just a physical attraction) Long eye contact also helps.

  • I'm a guy and I'm kind of surprised by the answers in here, I know some girls aren't turned on visualy as much as guys, but I can just say that I have a pretty fit body and when I wear a tight T shirt or a tank top , not all, but most girls stare at my arms or pecs and the look they have in their eyes is pretty much like they are turned on, they look with desire. As I said not all but a big part of them.

    • Yeah same goes for me man. Every girl likes to check out guys and their nice physique if they have one but it doesn't necessarily mean they're turned on. Maybe those girls were ovulating ha ha they normally get a lot hornier when they're ovulating.

  • I think that most of the girls on here have already answered it for me... As the other girls have said, it's not so much visual. We respond more to touch, sound, and even smell... But it's usually just a response to a particular person, unless someone's actually touching us... What the girl said about spooning is SUPER true!

  • It takes longer for girls to get turned on...so just looking at a hot guy will just fire a spark in our brain that says "wowza" ... but we wouldn't be at the same state of arousal as you are with a hard on. Kinda like you're ready to go at the drop of the hat and we need some time to warm up. It's not that women aren't visual, its that we aren't "just" visual.

  • I've talked about this with my boyfriend before and it is definitely different for girls than it is for guys. Or at least for me. I don't get turned on by just seeing a guy I think is hot. If it's my boyfriend it can be a touch/ hug or the way he looks at me. But with out some sort of sexual vibe or kiss or something I hardly get turned on for no reason. I have had encounters in the past where it has happened. One example was a guy I had never met through a friends car window. We made eye contact and I guess he felt the same way because I couldn't stop thinking of him, and when I got home had a facebook message from him. When I told him I ha a boyfriend who was away he said OK so I'm guessing you could use a release. I think it was the taboo subject that turned me on but oh I will never forget that. So to answer your question I suppose eye contact and taboo conversations.

    • Well it's no so much a sexual turn on for girls the way guys may think. I think girls appreciate a hot body and like to look at it in the way some people look at art ;) but the thing is its definitely a turn on for some girls one the actual heat is involved and there is sexual attraction and touching going on. It is a turn on. It just doesn't turn us on. If you can make sense of that.

I'm bringing up "girls looking at a hot body" because I'm actually pretty lean and muscular, and I just remember when I'm at the pool with my shirt off I catch a lot of girls glancing at my body...I was just unsure about what they were thinking and if it turns them on sexually.   • I Don't think any girl really gets horny by just looking... But The Guys tone of voice and what he says can make wet If I am interested but usually I have to be hugging him to get warm and wet so If I see a hot man naked it won't turn me on...
