  • Yes, though for many women the appetite does not increase until several weeks into the pregnancy. When I was pregnant, the first sign I noticed (even before the pregnancy test showed positive) was extreme tiredness. It was like all of a sudden I felt the need to sleep more than 12 hours a day, for no reason at all. And when I wasn't sleeping, I was still pretty lethargic. After that, I started getting headaches. WHile they weren't any different than normal headaches that I get, they were more frequent. The next sign major sign I had was nausea at about 4-5 weeks LMP (2-3 weeks since actual pregnancy began). This was just before my missed period and positive test. The nausea turned into frequent uncontrollable vomiting (more than 20 times a day--quite miserable!) at about week 5 (again, that's 3 weeks since actual conception). It wasn't until about week 8 that I noticed any sort of increased appetite, although this could also be related to the nausea I experienced. I don't know if this is what you're looking for but I hope this helps.

  • An awesome way to find out if you're pregnant is by taking a pregnancy test of seeing your Dr.

  • Suddenly having a huge, disproportionate tummy, is probably a big one. Or, the pregnancy test saying 'Positive', probably a good one. Or missing your period - another killer. Or, the condom company sending you a letter of apology saying 'We hope that you have not used our condoms yet and regret to inform you of a defective batch...'. Or, the boy you slept with calling you up and saying 'Hey, just to let you know, I lied about being impotent.' Or, like, wanting to eat lightbulbs, or something. Pica.

I think I might have accidentally written this in a sarcastic tone, LOL. Anyway, that's the ones I know. Oh yeah, back pain and muscle pain and stuff, and feeling ill.
