What's the point of being confident when I have no womanly curves?

Science already proved that males prefer females who LOOK womanly. I get turned down all the time because of my thinness I mean look how society is putting down skinny girls and curvy girls are always all over my face about guys wanting "meat on bones" "want something to grab on" " they want "curves not angles" etc... Also, I'm not worried about my personality (I've been told by many people that I'm a good person in general and a good friend) so my problem is my body shape. I bet you even if a guy decided to give a girl like me a chance he would be oggling a curvy girl with a big bum and boobs in front of my face because its just their nature. I always see guys with girls bigger then them or girls who have big breasts big butt or big thighs. Just look at the the "Real women have curves movement" Another thing that gets on my nerves is how curvy girls act like guys don't want them and they want us. THEY NEVER DID! Girls like Beyonce and Kim Kardashioan or Marylin Monroe will ALWAYS be 1rst place.

  • Actually, after the Marilyn Monroe/Sophia Loren/Jayne Mansfield era, thin became "in" and it's stayed that way ever since. Sure, in the 1950's guys wanted hourglass, but guys nowadays go crazy over Megan Fox and Blake Lively and whoever else a magazine tells them to like.

    I am curvy, I'm an hourglass and happy to have big boobs and hips, but I think it's real offensive to say "real women have curves" because some girls are naturally without curves.

    A bunch of dudes are gonna come on and talk about how much they can't stand curvy chicks and like thin chicks, you'll feel much better about yourself and no one ins society has put down thin girls.

  • Finally someone who knows my situation lol. I can't stand when I hear people say real women have curves or men don't want skinny chicks cause they look like 12 year old boys. but having confidence in yourself and what you were born with shows that your secure with yourself and happy with who you are and that's an attractive quality in a person. sometimes when you exude confidence it fools people into thinking your amazing. guys don't want women that are constantly comparing themselves to other people, it gets old and exhausting to deal with but remember their are a ton of guys out there that like our 12 year old stature ahha.

  • Yeah. You're just wrong. There are guys who like pretty much EVERY body type. Personally, I prefer a cross between the type you find horrible (thin) and the type you think is ideal (curvy). I like a mix of both. Specifically I like thin features most everywhere, but big firm breasts.

    Sadly there aren't many of these girls that occur in nature. Fortunately ALL girls have a lot of other important characteristics.

    On balance though, I've mostly dated thin girls. And I've been more than happy with them.

  • I like women with curves, however if your a nice and honest person it doesn't matter.

    Personally I would date someone who is skinny and I wouldn't have a problem with it, and if I loved you I would stay simple as. As for the other girls...they might get the guys, but would they be able to keep them!

    I bet you would be a keeper, and some of the curvy girls might not have the stamina as you do eh?

  • Nearly every girl has something about her body she doesn't like. Even girls who YOU think have the PERFECT body will have a list of things she doesn't like.

    The point is: you have the body you have, and no matter what you have, there will be plenty of guys who like it and want it. Will there be some who don't like it? Sure, but NO woman has a body that will attract 100% of men, so forget it.

    Big thighs and big butts turn me off.

    Not to sound like a weirdo but I think girls with skinny legs, thighs, and ankles are super sexy. If you look at runway models and even some super models, they don't have curves but are sexy.

    I would choose a curveless, thin girl over a fatty. Thin girls are better at certain things than their counterparts.

Well sort of anyway because she happens to be tall as well, but at 5'8" and 115# she isn't particularly curvy. however, she is spectacularly beautiful when she is naked. while none of her curves are big or pronounced, they're beautiful none the less. I have yet to see a woman look better in a tiny bikini either. Now I actually prefer women who are built like her, but you have to keep in mind that while women come in all different shapes and sizes, men love women of all different shapes and sizes. There ARE guys out there who think your body is absolutely perfect just the way it is!

  • Don't be discouraged. There are plenty of guys out there that must like your body type. Also guys like confidence. Personally, I love a woman who is confident and doesn't care what people think of her regardless of how she looks.
