Noooooo you are not! You are going about everything the right way! Don't feel pressured to do anything you aren't comfortable with... you will regret it. And you are right only do things w guys you like. Even if you like a guy don't ever feel pressured to go to far. A lot of girls your age think its cool to do lots of sexual things w many guys... and its not cool at all. Especially with all the diseases and everything going around and people starting rumors. You are way better off doing things theright way which is what you are doing. If your friends say you are prude they are not real friends at all! A real friend and a good guy wull never pressure u, keep that in mind. No matter how great a guy seems or how much he sweet talks u, if you feel pressured don't do it! You just keep doing what you feel is right and ignore everyone else. You will know when its right :)
The way I have always looked at it is...sometimes young girls (myself included when I was that age) do things to fit in or be accepted by others...but you would rather a guy or your friend not accept you for being reserved..then for being too easy..TRUST ME!...if I could go back..I would tell all of the guys who expected so much of me..to go to hell...
Having a reputation as being a so- called Prude...is way better than having a reputation for being that easy girl..that everyone has an opportunity to try...

this is how I was and yeah when I look back I feel kinda prudish but you know what I don't think it was that I was so much a prude as I just think I felt pretty good about myself as a person and also some of my insecurities probably held me back from doing things that I shouldn't have been doing anyway so I'm glad I was prudish. Prude girls unite, it's all good ;)
not compared to me, I'm a 19 year old GUY and I have never kissed a girl, been on a date, even been to a dance at school. the closest thing was asking a girl to a black tie Ball that we both had to go to anyway, and I never got to go because I had a bad flu. at least you got a kiss. any way being a prude is not about not doing something but why. I have not been on a date because I didn't have any girls that I was like "I would spend the rest of my life with her" and so decided not to waist her or my time.

Nope. You're just you. Its funny actually. When you go to 18+ or 21+ clubs women are still scantily clad but they're not draped across guys like the girls at the teen clubs always are. You hardly ever meet date caliber men at clubs.
