This question I was stumpt upon. like guys come out and say it but like girls no. A lot of them claim they don't but I don't know what to believe, yeahh well bring ur opinions.

Yes, girls masturbate! There's been this myth throughout history that women don't or shouldn't enjoy sex just as much as men, but it's just not true.

However, women don't have much testosterone, which is the big thing that gives men a more urgent and frequent need for sex. I've known multiple guys who said they would masturbate many times a day as a teenager, and I don't think many women are at that level. (Testosterone vs. estrogen is largely responsible for the stereotypical differences between men and women around sex and relationships.)

I would guess a typical girl might masturbate one to three times a week--but I only know from myself and some friends. Most girls do it at least occasionally. But, we just don't have as strong a need as men, so it's more about the fun than a strong urge for sex. (Not that women don't have strong urges too, they just tend to be less frequent and a little more wrapped up with emotions in addition to sex.)

I think that girls are embarrassed to say that they do, honestly. If you think about it, there will always be a double standard sexually between girls and guys. Guys are often looked at as more manly the more girls they sleep with and the more guys a girl sleeps with, she's just looked at as slutty. It's a horrible thing and I wish that it would change, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. SO- if you think of it in terms of masturbation, most girls will not tell you they do for fear of being judged as being "too sexual" or they think you will think they are a slut. Personally, I masturbate all the time. but do I tell anyone that I know that? Hell no.

i do it everyday. at least two times... some days more!

looking at others girls I'm thinking maybe I'm doing it too much! it can be six-eight times in one day if I feel like it - that ain't rare for me...

i am single but even when I'm in a relationship I still masturbate everyday.

i can think of worse things to do with my time :-)

Ok, let me try to clear things up a bit, girls (to all guys) and guys (to all girls) aren't two completely different races from completely different planets, they are just different genders, sure there is a lot of ambiguoity from both sides, but in general if something applies to one side it applies to the other, that being said it's based on the individual of how different or alike they are to other people; in other words what I'm trying to say is, frequent masturbation depends on the individual, so yes, some women frequently masturbate.

I have since I was 15. And once I hit 18 and became introduced to sex toys, well, it was *on.* I used to do it daily. Now, though, I'm too busy for that. I usually masturbate about three or four times a week.
