"fake" women, why is it a turn off?

Not just breasts and lips, but nails and hair extensions... Why when it's known that men like full lips and bust, and long feminie nails and hair..that when a girl goes the extra mile to achieve those things, she isn't any longer diserable?

  • thats funny. I just read in cosmo or something that men generally prefer nails that just come over the tip barely and not the long nails. I think maybe they did once upon a time, or maybe that's yet another girlie thing that we took over and made a trend, more of a big deal amongst ourselves than it was to men to begin with.

im bisexual and fake body parts are a turn off unless she had cancer or she had a huge accident or something. I prefer natural, and yes I like fuller lips and bigger breasts but naturally. id rather have thin lips and small boobs on a girl a date than fake everything.

hair I don't care about. that's fashion, style, etc. some people like to drastically switch up their look and hair extensions and coloring, etc. are the best ways to do that. I do like to see a girls natural hair at some point though, and I'm usually just wearing my hair out natural (and its like a curly afro so yeah lol). I guess as a girl I understand it though and it doesn't bother me. I think some guys get it too, but at the same time most mainstream, straight guys are conditioned to be so different from the female persona that they don't understand why we do it or they feel tricked or something. idk. I wouldn't worry about it. be yourself and if you're a chameleon then rock your different styles all day everyday and continue switching it up. the right guy won't really care. hell a lot of "wrong guys" won't care either. ha ha

makeup is another thing some guys freak out over. men. who REALLY understands them anyway? lol

  • Any guy that says he doesn't like fake girls is talking sh*t. Tell me what guy would turn down the 99% of female celebrities that have had plastic surgery? I would say the only time is when they feel intimated or insecure by her looks! My sister just recently got a boob job, she is not 'fake' and is college educated and has a high powered job. She got the procedure to balance her figure. She was gorgeous before but now she gets all kinds of guys staring at her just walking down the street. Yes she is good looking, yes she has had a boob job. Are guys turned off? no way! I also have another friend who has had a nose job, she is a model... guys don't even know she has had the procedure, all they see is her gorgeous face. My point is I wouldn't really take anything the guys on this site to say as gospel, use your common sense and your real life examples to give you the answer! Good Luck

  • That's a good question. Unfortunately, the women who do this are wanting to be attractive, but the men are hypocrites most of the time. When they want sex, they go for the "fake" women, when they want marriage, they want the "real" thing. Honestly, it kind of ticks me off. LOL..

    • Makes sense though; the one's parading off their sexual availability are not seen as mature or noteworthy as those who are more conservative and serious, which are two traits you look for in a mate when you want to have kids. No one wants a clown for a parent, a fun person yes, but an unstable person? No.

    • What if she was conservative, stable and serious but wanted a cosmetic surgery done because when she saw her from then on, she could feel confident? Breast implants don't translate into "tramp", she could just want to do it for herself...

    • The intentions of doing it for yourself are fine. But no one would know of your intentions. If you have your breasts done, and don't try to put in a size F or something that is really an advertisement, I think you could get away with it without anyone even knowing you had done it. You wouldn't look all done up. You would look natural and that is the whole goal for you. Nothing wrong with that.

  • Because many women don't understand the difference between going the extra mile and going overboard. They get so caught up in trying to cover / make up for every little blemish and imperfection, that by the time they are done, they are literally 30% water, 50% cosmetic crap, and 20% silicone / plastic.

Remember girls, the average human body should be 62% water. It's nice when a guy can look at you and not see his reflection. That's why we don't consider looking at p*rn to be cheating, because those are fake women.

You want to be feminine? Keep your hair long and shiny, your nails clean and preferably polished, your skin soft to the touch, and dress to accentuate your best (real) assets. Men want women who are mature and at least somewhat comfortable in their skin, not girls who spend so much time/money on presentation that you can't help but think they are superficial and insecure.

    • And because no guy would turn down Megan Fox or Blake Lively or whoever the hell Maxim told y'all to be attracted to

    • BAM

    • I've heard of Megan Fox, don't know what she's done or looks like, never heard of Ms. Lively. Last time I read a Maxim was probably late teens. Now, why are you comparing me to these Maxim men and yourselves to these women? We're real people, not celebrities, we don't seriously hope to be with celebrities. Most men insult these celebrities precisely because they are shallow, diluted, superficial. So explain to me, why we should find a celebrity-wannabe attractive? All the issues, no money.

  • It's not that it's a turn off per say; I'd still shag them, but I wouldn't date them.

It's not the physical appearance, it's the sentiment. If she's willing to be fake about her appearance to such an extent, then you must think - what aspect of her personality and life is she also masking?

What Girls & Guys Said

  • It's a turn off to the homosexual dudes on this site. In real life, guys don't give a rats butt and go for the "fake" girl all the time. Guys do not see beyond looks, so if the chick is attractive, be it fake or not, they'll go for her.

  • Imagine if you met a guy, took him home and off came his wig, his chest hair came popping out of his collar and you discovered that it was in fact a roll of quarters in his pocket. It feels something like that.

  • I am one of those guys who doesn't like all the fakeness. Fake boobs look fake. Fake lips look fake. Fake long nails are just annoying. I appreciate a woman who is 100% natural. If this is what it takes to get a guy interested in the woman, is he really worth having? What happens when both of you age? Things are no longer as smooth and tight skinned when you are younger. It is at this time that your relationship better have something else other than what the plastic surgeon delivered.

  • Honestly, I probably wouldn't even be able to tell the difference and I bet most other guys wouldn't either.

    • I can tell.

  • "Why when it's known that men..." blah, blah, blah f*cking BLAH.

That's what pisses me off, right here. WHO knows these things? WHEN did they ask me? WHY do they get to speak for me, to tell me what *I* like?

She wants to put fake sh*t in her hair, on her hands, in her lips, *ss, t*ts, her call. If I want to despise fake sh*t, my call.

But if a girl wants to do something I like, something that would make me find her attractive, then I would *very strongly recommend* that she ASK me first. NOT what's "known", NOT what "all guys like", NOT what she thinks my preference ought to be--ASK. ME.

    • Woah buddy, relax. You missed the entire point of the question, A. And B.I was speaking in general, so you taking it personally is ridiculous. So chill the f*** out.

  • i can't speak for guys but I would much rather have a real body not a fake one

  • I'll ask you this: If a man had fake muscles so he looked rugged but he didn't really have muscles at all would you find him sexy once you found out?

    • Wait, can you rephrase that? I'm sorry, I read it like five times abd I don't quite understand the question...

    • A man has bicep implants so he looks strong but he is weak in the arms is he still sexy?

    • Nice!

    • Show All
  • That's a valid question right there! I'm actually in the minority as a guy here, but I honestly love when a woman goes out of her way to pamper herself especially when it comes to nice beautiful long nails! I love hands and find them extremely attractive and sexy when they are done and I love when she uses them on me too in bed or backscratches. I don't care about hair extensions. No deal breaker.

  • Some men like that stuff, others not so much. Personally, I can't stand long nails.

  • It makes her look like she is trying to hard, especially if the guy who is looking has seen her before she got all made up. Personally I don't mind fake nails at all but too much makeup and fake breasts might scare me away.
