We're both 21 though I know this question sounds like it's from "under 18" but I'm just that lame and inexperienced lol. Can a guy have sex (or continue having sex) while he's soft? Let's say he's already in me, then he goes soft, can he continue thrusting and stuff? or it's not good to do that? if he gets soft, would it be possible to get it hard again (if he's still in me?) I know everyone's different but I want some general info. I was just wondering. It *is* definitely possible to "go limp" in the middle of sex without ejaculating (stress, interruption, etc.), and it is possible to regain the erection. But many times, it may not be regained in time to keep it inside you, and it won't do either of you much good if it isn't hard.

I would say that the most important thing is to make sure that you aren't making him feel anxious or stressed (possibly about his performance), which is the most common cause of "lost wood."

Certain medications can also cause this problem, so maybe check that too.
