It states, "The majority of women with chlamydia do no have symptoms." It's extremely likely she had it from a previous boyfriend before your marriage and never knew about it. It happens all the time. That's why there are so many "get tested" campaigns out there. People live with diseases they never knew they had for years until it's too late.
Of course you could just ask her if she cheated. But if you never saw any symptoms and neither did she, it's extremely likely that she never knew and she got it from before. Especially if she had a few boyfriends and one night stands like you said.
Women don't get symptoms from chlamydia so it is possible she's had it for years (she should go to docs for fertility tests though and if it's been there a long time it can make a woman sterile) however if shed had it for a long time you should have caught it and men are more likely to have symptoms link hope this helps. (you need sit and talk to your wife calmly)
Chlamydia can totally be dormant. A friend of mine had sex at 14 (once) and did not have sex again until she was with her now husband and turns out she's had chlamydia all along and it caused her to become sterile. You should probably have that check too, if she's had the disease for a while, it could have caused some important damage.
You should ask your doctor before you go crazy and strat to assume your wife cheated. it can really go undiagnose for many years.

I could find you a 100 sites that explains it, but I guess you're able to google it yourself. Try dormant chlamedia and see sites that are done by Dr. The one you find talks about what the average is (all true), does not mean it's the same for everyone.
