Well there's a point where it's his fault.

My boyfriend is also uncircumcised and I've never had a problem. If he hasn't had much sex then the skin will be tight and it probably hurts to pull it back over his head, which requires a lot of stretching- kind of like your first time with sex. But there are ways to keep it clean, and if he wants head/you want to give head, he needs to keep it clean. It's going to be a little painful because he'll have to pull back that skin to clean the shaft.

Now, if he's had a lot of sex and it's not longer painful to pull the foreskin back to reveal the whole head and shaft for cleaning then he's a f***tard for not doing. That's disgusting, not just in terms of sex but over all just... Yuck. Bacteria can grow and he can get infections.

Which ever it is the solution is the same- talk to him. Don't get angry or pissy just talk to him like an adult. Don't accuse him of being grotesque of disgusting he probably doesn't know the difference, so just try to be kind and gentle. Just talk about cleaning the whole shaft with the foreskin pull back or something and see what he says.

He won't do anything differently unless you talk to him.

Just because it smells a little, it doesn't mean there's an infection. The penis takes care of itself quite nicely and even if you don't wash under the foreskin it's still unlikely to get infected. It may smell, yes, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong. It's actually when guys DO wash the foreskin that problems arise. The foreskin (like the vagina) has a bacterial culture to defend it and soap can kill it leaving you vulnerable to infection and problems with smell.

I'm not saying he has an infection- I'm saying that if you don't wash it out with water once in a while it can get very dirty and potentially infected. I doubt he has an infection, there would be a lot more than a bad smell and bad taste if he did, it would be just about unbearable. I'm simply saying that, like the vagina, a rinse with water is only going to help and it will take away much of the taste- and probably the smell.

Right but to say the foreskin can get infected if not washed regularly is a pervasive and dangerously misleading myth that probably causes more infections then it helps and I just wanted to point that out.

In response to sa2303:: Actually, I wash with soap, ect. and have no problems. When I was a young boy (around 5) I got infected for lack of cleaning, but then after I developed to habit of cleaning under the foreskin I have had no problems. So it's not a misleading myth and does not cause infections.

It did for me and I've read accounts of many other men. Soap should not be used on the genitals. A good rinsing with warm water is all that is needed.

Just tell him to take a shower before sex. I'm uncircumcised and know that after a long day there is a slight smell, but nothing a rinse-off would take care of. And he also needs to keep it clean as well (pull back skin and clean it during shower), that will make it a more pleasurable experience for you when you decide to give him head.

What little foreskin (the reason why it's not germane) I have requires me to pull it back and clean under every time I shower. Since I'm not a f**ot, I can only guess your boyfriend needs also to pull back his foreskin to clean that area. If he's not cleaning his d*** under his foreskin that would easily explain the foul odor.

Do women even realize they have more skin flapping around down there(not to mention their hole) then most uns. guys. Most girls including my girlfriend have very little odor. If he smells then he's not doing something right.
