Yeah it is kind of a problem. An ex of mine fabricated a story about having to scare me off with a kitchen knife because I kept trying to have sex with her when she didn't want to.. Nothing remotely like that ever happened (she wanted sex more than me in actuality), but she told some of our mutual friends that story and f*cked things up for me with a few people. I also went out with this chick who lied about her age and she turned out to be underaged. Good thing I figured it out before I did anything illegal. I don't think women understand how profoundly they can affect someone's life with their little "white lies".
everytime I wake up in the mourning with a random after partying, first thing I do is look over to her side and think to myself, "please oh please don't scream rape". weird right? thank god I'm not ugly and have a good smile. sometimes question myself 'how drunk is rape' if you know what I mean.
It's very rare. I know more women who have been raped than I know men who have been falsely accused of rape. There are a handful of women who make up rape accusations but most women are not lying. Most women don't even report it.
However you shouldn't be afraid to say hi or flirt because of this. The chances of you being accused of sexual assault is very very rare, I don't know any guy who has. It's more likely that a woman would get date raped than a guy would be falsely accused and we still go out on dates so...
Luckily, from the total percentage of women who do actually say they were raped or sexually assaulted, the number of false reports is incredibly low. Last I researched, it was something like 2%. Any girl who falsely accuses rape or assault has no idea what it's really like to be in that situation, and the kind of stigma and shame that survivors often feel. A lot of the time, survivors don't even report the crime.
So, I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Saying hi and flirting are harmless.

It depends on the individual, but from the few stories I've heard, it seems like those girls just don't want to take responsibility for their own actions. They have sex and they regret it or the guy "does them wrong" by cheating on them or breaking up with them, so they cry rape. Those girls are nuts and hopefully aren't as common as you think :P Don't worry about it, and be smart about who you spend time with.

Girls who do cry rape after sexual activity often times regret it or fear mommy and daddy finding out they had IR sex, but either way, crying false rape is pathetic and sh*tty.
Some girls just over react and some guys go a little too far. It's okay to flirt, but if you notice that she's getting uncomfortable with it you should stop or try and tone it down a bit.
girls that report a rape have to go though an exam with a nurse knows the signs of rape and document it for the police. they know when chicks are faking.

I guess they don't have any other way of getting back at him, so they cry rape when something goes wrong. Men kick someone's ass, women gossip. So I guess this is sort of the same thing.
those girls are seriously deranged. the vast majority of women, however, are not experiencing psychosis. so relax and ask out a nice girl. :)
Rape is very traumatic and some girls push the blame on to guys who are innocent, because they need to blame someone and they are too scared to point out the actual man. But the good thing if you didn't do it the legal system will figure that out. And very few girls would ever do this.
Okay let's split all girls up into two groups. The ones who do this and the ones who don't. Because a lot of us don't do this or even think about it.
The ones who do this are selfish, inconsiderate, brats/bitches who don't care about effecting anyone's life. As long as they end up happy or hurting the person that hurt them.
Its horrifying. That would be impossible to ever even claim if the rape % was lower. Sucks because innocent people are hurt by rape directly and indirectly :(

I don't know any rape victims... And I do know 2 guys falsely accused. One went to my high school and the girl got drunk and gave all the guys bjs and then had sex with 2 of them and cried rape the next day.. She was a slut. Then a girl at a fraternity party cried rape on some of the frat brothers and after pressure from all the Greek community she dropped the charges and transferred

Oh, don't worry about it! The truth is the percentage of false rape allegations is closer to 40%. 2% came from doctored statistics from feministwomen. Dig deeper, da Nile is more than a river in Egypt. I'm avoiding women entirely, guess why? Don't worry my ads.

I knew a girl in high school that falsely claimed rape. Her and the guy were both drunk and had sex at a party. A day or two later, she then decided she didn't want to have sex with him. Luckily, the guy didn't get in too much trouble. I feel sorry for any other guy that she gets pissed at. We need to start drafting contracts for sex.
