So there's this guy at work who holds prolonged eye contact with me, a lot, I really like him, not sure if he likes me or not. when I walk in the room, his eyes find mine straight away, he even follows my gaze when I look away from him. This has been going on for about six months, he also goes through fazes of blanking me, but I can tell he's deliberately trying not to look at me. It's like were both addicted to looking into each others eyes, and it is very sexy, the rest of the room just disappears when it happens and I want to kiss him so badly, it's shameful. This has never happened to me before. Last week I walked into the staffroom and he was making a cup of tea, I walked over to get myself a cup and as I turned around he was right in front of me, locking eyes with me, we just stood their silently gazing into each others eyes for what seemed like a minute. It was really intense, I broke eye contact first and smiled, a little embarrassed I'd been sucked in again, said hi, he said hi, then I got my drink, he just stood their drinking his tea, side glancing at me with a grin. But then he followed this by blanking me for a week, what is this game? Would someone please tell me the rules!

yes we have but it always gets inturupted or I get tongue tied, but we've know each other for 3 years. I was attracted to him from day one. this eye locking thing happened the first time we met but I kept my distance because I was in a long term relationship.then we had an oppertunity to work closly together, I've since ended the relationship I was in because the way that I feel around this guy tells me I'm not in love with my ex anymore.

He's not a shy guy though, he is really articulate, he's always joking arund with his collegues and seems to enjoy being centre of attention, but with me, he just acts like he doesn't know what to say to me, except, hi, how are you? And then listens really attentively when I do speak to him, but will at the end of the conversation just walk away without even saying good bye. It is really odd, and I know that he is aware taht I find him attractive.

This guy has seriuosly got me in a spin, I'm not usually shy, I spent sat night dancing errotically up against the DJ in a club and chatted up two other guys- newly single after 17 years, just re-affirming my femininity! Asked him to join me on an outdoor adventure day, he didn't reply so I now just ignore him completely, but have since met another guy who is utterly awesome and we see each other regularly- he treats me like gold. I'm so over the guy at work, I think he just enjoyed the ego boost, guess I should be flattered he liked my interest even if he wasn't prepared to invest his time with me, but the new guy does with much passion so I guess its a blessing things didn't work out with the guy from work!. x
