The "send me a pic" trick?

Its all too common anymore when flirting back and fourth with someone via text that one of them, usually the guy, asks for a pic. It starts out as innocent- of the face and it gradually escalates. What I'm wondering, is if there is a motive behind this that goes beyond dirty pictures. The first could be to see how far the girl is going to go and how easy she is and what you are going to get. If you get a nude right away then she's a hookup, and if you don't get beyond the innocent stuff, she is more relationship and you can take it or move on. Or, and this is what I've really been thinking, is its a way to size up the girl before you hook up with her. If you get a decent shot at what her body looks like before you ever hook up with her you can know what to expect and choose to hit it or quit it. **this question is not advocating or condemning sending pics or naked pics to people and I would prefer not to debate that specifically**

Ive asked for pics of girls.. Mainly cause I haven't seen them in a while like a year.. And people change..

As for asking for nude pics.. Id never

Asking for sexy pics.. Only if I really like the girl and we've dated a few times..

Asking for just a picture.. Well

1. If I was dating her.. I would like to see what kind of picture shed send.. If she dressed up id find it funny and sweet.

2. If I'm not dating her.. And I liked her. Again it would be to see if she likes me.. If its just a simple picture she might not. If its funny or sexy.. She might

I only ask girls to do that after we've been intimate, the nudie pics anyway. One randomly sent me naked pics of herself before we had even properly had a date...yeah I stopped talking to her after that, f*cking gross. There must be guys all over my city with pics of her in his phone.

I don't know why that happens but it does, and it's usually guys asking for the pics first. I never know when it's going to lead to something more when they ask for a contacts list picture

Right, I can usually tell immediately that its going to lead to them wanting more. If I want a relationship its like, hell no, I won't put up with that. But just a hook up - you're still not walking away with a nude of me.

One may want a full body pic just to make sure the person isn't disgusting in anyway. Pics of just the face can hide nasty suprizes.

I do this and honestly, it is to see how far they go. I personally like a challenge. If you just give it up, I pass. However just because someone sends one doesn't mean they're easy. A woman willing to please is also a very sexy thing. Every guy has a motive. It is what it is. That's my reasoning, I can only speak for myself.
