Whats the point of lube? isn't that faking it?

If a girl isn't wet enough then she obviously isn't aroused... why use lube? isn't sex supposed to be mutual? only the guy will be enjoying it while the girl is having 'fake' sex from fake lube, so the guy can use her body to orgasm.

  • Um no, lol. Some girls naturally don't get as wet as others, or wet enough to have sex comfortably. it doesn't mean she's not turned on, it means her body doesn't properly reflect it. Also if you're going at it long enough, even the wettest girls might start to dry up after a while, and that doesn't mean she's starting to NOT enjoy sex halfway through, lmao. I gush like a waterfall, but after 45 minutes of sex, it doesn't -always- stay that way. Usually, but not always. Another thing to consider is that a woman's natural lubrication starts to dry up the older she gets. She might have more trouble getting wet. Not trouble getting AROUSED, trouble getting WET. The two aren't always mutually inclusive. A girl can be aroused but not be totally wet, and she can also be wet but not feel aroused, other times she'll be turned on and soaking wet at the same time.

And also, my ass doesn't make its own lube. =P

If YOU don't want to have sex because YOU are not turned on, then YOU should say no. People only use you if you let them. Don't let people use you and then blame them for doing it. If you let it happen, then you're both at fault.

    • A+ lol

    • Why thank you dear! ;D

  • 1. Not all women produce a lot of natural lubricant.

    2. Even the ones that do, eventually will run dry if the sex lasts long enough.

    3. It is less damaging to the vagina, because "natural lubricant" still isn't as slippery or as long-lasting as artifical lube.

    4. Toys and natural lube don't last long togther, for those of us who like sextoys during our sex.

    5. You can also get those tingly ones and stuff for different sensations

    • completely agreed. In addition if your partner is larger sometimes lube will make entry less painful.

  • I completely disagree. Many girls have difficulty getting wet even if they are aroused. I myself can get extremely wet in the beginning but after having sex for a little while I'll sometimes get dry fir no reason at all. That's where lube comes in. It's not "fake". It feels really good. When I want sex I don't want to be dry, that hurts. Lube is very helpful in those situations.

  • ridiculous question, are you serious? it's not fake lube.

just because she isn't wet enough, doesn't mean she doesn't want to make love. as most girls here have said, not everyone produces enough natural lube so to speak. it's not unusual.

besides if the guy is bigger than what she's used to or it's her first time then it will help to make it more comfortable for her. it has nothing to do with the guy using the woman as a sex toy. also the guys penis won't be lubed up so you are sticking a dry object in there :P unless you do "disgusting saliva/oral" before he goes in.

    • well if I'm not wet that means I'm not aroused... lube would be like a cover up so the guy could have sex with me, it's not real arousal it's fake wetness.

    • no one is saying lube is replacing arousal lol, it's making it more COMFORTABLE. why even ask this question? everyone is disagreeing with you ( because you are incorrect ) and you still feel the need to stamp your wrong opinions on anyone that doesn't agree with you. just take people's word for it. look at all the replies.

    • but if a girl is aroused enough she should get wet naturally! I wouldn't even bother having sex if I wasn't aroused. Womens arousal= getting wet. If a guy couldn't get an erection we don't just put some sort of splint on his d*** to make it stand up lol... that would be fake.

  • Okay genius. By your logic then, Viagra is only for the girl to enjoy it and no guy would ever want to take it because it would mean he isn't enjoying it.

Sound like bullsh!t to you? Yeah, me too. Same as your explanation.

  • Obviously youhave a lot to learn about sex if you consider using lube fake sex. Not all women can continuously produce enough of their own natural lubricants. Maybe you should do a little more research on sex and how to please your partner.

    • if they can't produce enough then they musn't be aroused enough.

    • Not true at all!

    • false...you have 2 people telling you that it isn't unusual for a woman not to be able to produce a lot of natural lubricant, well 3 now. Just google it

  • HAHHAHAHAHAHAHA fake lube. lmao

  • Are you the same anonymous user who doesn't like getting her boobs touched?

    • what has that got to do with this question?

    • I'll take that as a yes. You're clearly sexually inexperienced or just trolling.

    • Im not inexperienced or trolling. It's a genuine question. I don't understand the point of lube, why fake something that isn't real? if she's not wet, she's not horny. don't just cover it up by using fake lube.

  • Umm no. I take medication and have become very dry because of it. It wouldn't matter how aroused I am, I won't get wet enough for sex.

  • Isn't that when I suppliment her with my saliva?

    • if a woman is horny she should be wet with her own lube not someone elses spit or fake lube

    • Using saliva for lube is disgusting, and increases the risk of transmitting STD's and other infections

    • well..if my wife doesn't want sex...she will say so...and yes I have put spit on my d*** to make for easier entrance...but what I meant was giving her oral...so...what is your point? If a female doesn't want sex and the male proceeds...that is rape?

  • Well at least in my experience, it's made it easier for things to go in and out :)

  • Our bodies are complicated! Lube is not a bad thing at all! Sometimes we just need a little help. But make sure you do plenty of fore play. That always works for me!

  • uh no. different girls have different amounts of wetness obviously.

  • lube can help some woman that can,t get wet win the first start and lube can make it easy for him to put in you and after he is in side you you can get wet then and it not fake then is it
