Girlfriend wants to give me birthday sex/her virginity as my birthday present?

I will be with her for three months exactly on my 23rd birthday in a month. She is deciding to give herself to me, but I have been really debating on breaking up with her before that. She hasn't done a thing wrong, we just don't have a lot of common interest in things, but she's super sweet and kind. Should I go through with it to see if it changes and turns the relationship around? Should I do it so she doesn't do it with another guy who could end up treating her like crap, or should I break up with her before the situation happens?

I think you really should break up with her before sex. Sex complicates things. It can bring you so much closer together emotionally, but with out the love or the things in comon like you said-you both will lose. If you stay cause of this new bond you will be unhappy cause her personlity doesn't interest you. If you leave after the sex-you will miss the bond- and to her it will be as traumatic as a divorce--I hope you will do the right thing.

you probably shouldn't stay in a relationship that you think is going nowhere and you definately shouldn't string her along and take her virginity to see if it'll make things better. If you really care about her and want to try and make things better then don't have sex with her. I know that I would rather just be broken up with than have sex for the first time and then have the guy dump me :) but that's just my opinion

She seems sure that she wants to be in a relationship with you and you are having doubts and are even considering breaking up with her. Don't sleep with her.

You said it yourself, you don't have common interests. Don't be a girl and assume sex will change things for the better.

No, from a girls perspective I think you should just be honest and break up with her. If your relationship is having problems now sex won't make it any better. After you do it you may end up breaking up with her anyway and she'll be left with nothing /=
