My theory (may or may not be true, depending on the guy): Guys are more focused during sex. They're busy doing stuff. But during a blowjob, they get to sit back and relax. It's all about them, and they can completely revel in how it feels. This might be why some guys make more noise during oral than during sex.

Dang! Here's another one. During sex, guys are actually doing something (thrusting) and it's hard to say "OH DAM OH DAM GIRL OH" when we're pounding it.
