Why would a guy say 'oh my god' when first having sex?

I was about to have sex for the first time with my boyfriend. We are only dating for 4 months and it was supposed to be the first for everything for me (hj, sex and generally being naked around him). He's not a virgin though. Anyways when he slipped me out of my pants, shirt, bra ... he kept saying things like 'oh my goodness' 'oh my god'... and it made feel really uncomfortable. I assume it's because of my body, I know I'm not perfect but did he have to point out in that moment? When I asked what's wrong? he said that everything was fine, he kept doing it though. We did not end up having sex

  • I definitely think he meant it in a good way, meaning he was more and more turned on the more naked you got.

Girls don't seem to realize that guys don't see things the same way you do. Where you see flaws and shortcomings, we see beautiful soft curves and womanly assets. What you think of as issues are mostly invisible to a guy, as he is focusing on the goodies.

  • wow, you're taking this completely the wrong way

he loves your body...he couldn't wait to see it and when he finally did...the only thing that came out of his mouth was "OMG"

thats a GOOD thing sweetheart, stop over analyzing

  • I agree with the others, I think he meant it in a good way. I'm pretty sure no guy is dumb enough to keep repeating it when it means something bad.

  • I think he meant it in a good way. I wasn't there so I can't tell you what context he meant it in, but usuallly when a guy says that it's good.

  • Because you're hot and he was overwhelmed by it. It's a good thing.

  • Depends on his tone! He could mean it in the best way possible or the worst way possible. Either way, I don't know why he would feel the need to verbally express it before or during sex.

  • Seriously?...*facepalm* he obviously liked what he was seeing..

  • He really liked what he was seeing.

  • Maybe he just liked what he saw...

  • Is this a serious question?

He didn't say "oh my god" because he was disgusted by anything. In fact, it was the complete opposite. He kept saying that because he was delighted by everything.

If this is a real question... *shakes head*

    • well why didn't he just say that then when I asked?

    • You asked him "what's wrong" and he said everything is fine. How is he to know from your question that you grossly misunderstood his reaction?
