Sexting goes overboard? All guys this dirty?

I guess I was "sexting" my really good guy friend today and it totally went out of control. At first I was just kidding around, but then he totally got serious and I saw a whole different side of him. He's one of those really sweet, funny, nice guy friends that are like your brother, you know? Are all guys like this? I feel kinda uncomfortable now but I did change the topic when I knew it was getting out of hand, because I wasn't even trying to sext; I was just playing around. He got really dirty. I'm in total shock and utter disbelief of how dirty he got and how different he sounded. He was like a whole 'nother person. Do you guys do this? Is this normal behavior? Should I really feel shocked right now?

  • You "guess" you were sexting your friend? Obviously you were. And then (according to you) it got out of control. How was he supposed to mind read you that somehow you magically assumed that something you had been doing with him was out of control? Then you go off on "Are all guys like this?" The same could be said from his side. A sweet girl he knew started sexting him. "Are all girls like this?"

    Sex is serious. Start poking a guys hormones and things will happen. When you do something that will cause a reaction, why do you act so naive when the reaction happens?

    Stop feeling shocked, etc. Tell him you goofed and regret what happened and set things back to as they were. Consider this a lesson learned.

  • Omg yes. I learned that the hard way. I thought he was kidding around and then he turned into another person. It literally felt like someone else took over. It got so out of hand and uncomfortable and the next day, it was as if nothing happened. I don't think guys can control themselves at a certain point. I know I won't be doing that again.

  • If you're going to start by kidding around (don't know exactly what that entitles) then he probably confused that for you wanting to have a kinky chat. Don't lead guys on especially when you don't want a reaction like that and with things like that. Guys get into it quickly and he had no idea what you're intentions were so in the future just don't go there and yeah it's normal behavior from his side because if you're going to talk sexy to him then it's natural that he will act the same towards you.
