So why do guys like virgins?

I wasn't quite sure how to ask or phrase this question but it's been bugging me for a couple years now. I'm starting college in the fall as a freshman and I'm still a virgin. There weren't very many guys that I knew that were mature enough or nice enough at my high school to even want to loose my virginity to (sorry if tht sounds mean or shallow). However all my friends have lost theirs and I feel stupid for saving myself. Of course I don't want to have sex with some random person and it just be over I want it to be somewhat special at least. But I am so afraid of messing up or doing something wrong that I'm kind of scared to let guys get close to me. I don't want things to progress that far and I disappoint him with all my inexperience, ya know? So advice/ comments/ help? Anything and everything will be appreciated :)

You probably know this already but yeah, guys like males in the animal kingdom are very territorial. They want to be able to be the first to be the only one to touch you, when a girl is a virgin, its like no other guy has yet tainted her. You are her one and only and you would feel honoured to take it. A girl who is a virgin is the sort of girl the majority of guys would LOVE to marry. How good you are at sex first time wouldn't matter, being the first and maybe last guy to have his d*** inside you and come inside you is considered almost an accomplishment but (not to put it so vain like that) also something you treasure in a girl you love if she isthe one

just knowing no other guy has never had his d*** in the girl, she's never sucked another guys d*** or had his come in or on her, this will go a long way in me considering her for marriage, of course just because she's a virgin doesn't really mean I will date her I may not even like her so she still has to be cool and share some common life goals, but I know for me its a pride, and ego thing
