I'm on my period and told my boyfriend... later on at night we hung out, came back to my place, and we started making out. I asked him if he's had sex with his girlfriend while she was on her period... Apparently things got messy, and she didn't even tell him she was on per period. I guess it was an unpleasant experience for him. I honestly don't see what the big deal is, I mean doing it in the shower should be OK or with a towel at least, I can't imagine releasing blood where it gets really messy while there's a penis inside of you. I've never had sex while I was on my period though (my current boyfriend is my first sex partner). Anywho, how can I "convince" him or just tell him that I think it's OK even if I'm on my period? I'm worried about bringing up the convo again... I don't want to weird him out.

i think most guys won't mind if the bleeding is light or if they have a condom on, but really think about what you're asking from your guy... it's pretty weird and disgusting to them... their junk is their pride and joy and if your trying to get him to let you bleed all over him... it's not nice... and instead of a shower standing, u'd probably want to do it in an underwater thing because the blood stays up in there where the d***'s going while your in the shower and sometimes it still leaks out and I doubt a guy would be for having clots on his d*** hole... uh uh, that stuff could give him a uti and that sucks for a dude worse than a chick think if it's hard to get it in, it's got to be hard getting it out... if you really need to get off my advice is to get a vibrator... because not many guys will do that stuff

Um... I was in this exact situation...

I "convinced" him, and we did it, but it still grossed him out so then he was a little disturbed for a while... which made me feel bad.

Just give up.

if he is grossed out by it you most likely won't be able to change his mind, and period sex can get real messy but its not that bad most of the time

I find it a little off putting, but only if it's lots of blood. If it's just a bit then I'm OK with it.

A lot of people are just funny with blood though, so it's understandable if he's not keen on the idea. don't force it upon him if he isn't comfortable.

If he's wearing a condom, he really has no reason to be squicked out, unless he just has some sort of phobia about blood.

You could try showing him proof online that many guys do not find this a problem.

Maybe wait for a time when he is horny and you are having a "light" day and give him that option...if he is your age or older, I don't know if he's gonna change or not...periods did not bother me by the time I was in my mid-twenties...

It can be a little creepy but it won,t hurt you or him it can be a little messy but if you are both in the mood you are all read to go because you all read wet and make it just that easy for him to put it in you. But if he dose not like it then just let it go tell you are not on your period.
