Are guys as picky about a girls body shape as we think they are

OK so obviously most guys won't be attracted to an obese lady but we have become totally obsessed with being really skinny and having huge boobs.A big problem with this is that is not achievable if this isn't your natural body type.I am also guilty of having become obsessed with losing weight and how my body looks so much so that a good guy friend of mine called me out on it a couple of days ago and basically told me it has to stop.He said something that I found very interesting which is that guys aren't nearly as picky about a girls body s we think they are and that us girls are way more critical of ourselves than any guy will ever be.Do you think this is true?do guys really not care that much about boob size or a girl carrying a few extra pounds?

    I think the majority of guys, when approaching someone new, a lot of extra pounds is a total deal breaker.

    And I think that's why women are confused. There is a point where weight matters tremendously. Women interpret that to mean every pound is critical.

    I think weight for women is more like height for men. Some girls don't care, but most girls want guys who are taller then them. Most don't care that much if a guy is 5" versus 7" taller though. Some do - just like some guys love DDs, and some guys love really thin girls (usually different guys btw).

The way I see it, the reason we are often confused is because we don't really know where that point lies. We're often never really sure if we've passed it or not.

  • I don't know ANY guy who likes a girl that looks like a clown...see eye makeup, which is not necessary for me, does enhance and even that can be over done...most females do look better with mascara...but some girls actually look worse with eyeliner and/or eyeshadow...and I flat hate foundation, bronzer and all that crap...what is it with covering blenishes? I have seen females that put on all kinds of makeup yet have this gross wart or bump on their face with a hair growing out of it...cut the makeup and there would be plent of money for lump removal...

    • lmao! so true... love the honesty.. I cut the make-up band wagon when my fiance told me he honestly liked me better with just eyeliner (top lid only) and mascara.. or JUST mascara..He hated raccoon eyes.

    Yes- guys will critique and rate girls bodies for attractiveness

    No- most guys will f*ck any girl as long as she isn't obese. For relationships while most guys hope for most attractive & more attractive they usually end up with attractive enough.

  • It depends of the guy, of course, but generally, you girls care more about your bodies (and each other's) more than guys do. Guys may have a boob size preference, body preference, hair preference, or whatever else, but those are just preferences. They'll still date you if they like your personality and find you physically attractive. I'm sure we could all dream up a perfect mate, but we'll always come across someone that doesn't fit that image that is still very attractive.
