Girls Who Lie About Their Age Should Be Charged With A Sex Crime?

Girls go into clubs and places including on line and lie about their age to guys, then should something sexual arise from it it's the guy's fault who's of age and he's the one who gets charged with a sex crime even though he has done his part and took her word she's of age. Then he has to register as a sex offender sex predator and he'll most likely go to prison. Do you think that's fair or do you think the under age girl should be charged with the sex crime then have to register as a predator sex offender until she turns 21?

  • There's nothing "fair" about sex crime laws. They are horrendously biased against men, and so is the court system. It's because as a culture we are far too eager to condemn any guy that's even accused of such a thing. While it's true that somebody who actually does that stuff is the lowest of scum and should be punished harshly, the fact is we've become over zealous about it. Jury's are all too ready to destroy the life of any guy just because some girl cries in court, even if the evidence is flimsy and would never convict somebody for any other crime. Politicians pass nigh unconstitutional laws regarding the subject because nobody wants to look like they aren't trying to "save the children". And judges sentence men FAR more harshly than women for the same crimes. For example, a male teacher that has sex with a kid gets raked through the coals, while a female teacher that does the same thing gets a comparative slap on the wrist.

In addition to that, there's no consequences worth mentioning for women who entrap men by lying to them, or just downright falsifying charges. Two girls in my former high school nearly ruined the life of one of the male teachers because they thought it would be funny to falsify molestation charges against him. They did it because they failed a test. They weren't punished at all when several months later they finally admitted to lying about the whole thing.

    • You absolutely nailed it in a nutshell. It was the feminist movement behind biased unjust laws against men that started way back in the 19th century and all they've accomplished if anything is men against women and it's the very reason today relationships and marriages don't last. Notice how I was attacked just asking the question first whack out of the box and that a man should be jailed for liking not someone under age, but someone younger, the mentality that caused the loss of respect.

    • Great link too by the way, it exposes the hypocrisy.

  • Considering the younger set and even would-be pedophiles I do consider it a shame that the guys would get the rap when they honestly believed the girl was of age. What's a guy to do?

Demand ID each and every time? And what if the ID is forged? I agree that's unfair.

And when I say would-be pedophiles I mean those guys who really do go for young flesh but are smart enough to at least try to make it with girls of legal age. It shouldn't be their fault if the girl's dishonest. I never had that problem since I always lusted after older women.

My wife IS a year younger than me, strange as it sounds but we were both in our late twenties.

No longer an issue. But my heart goes out to those guys who really thought they were doing something legal. I agree the deceiving girls should be the ones punished.

    • I agree with you.

  • there is a reason for the age of consent - young people are too young and naive to know better - that is down to the ADULTS make the wise choice. So, if you're getting caught with under age girls it's YOUR fault for being a cock-controlled perv, not theirs for wanting to seem mature and experienced. how many girls change their minds when they're in too deep to just walk away from a sexually agressive male? my bet is that incarcerating them for being young & dumb will just mean that they hate men in the future.

what would you prefer for a girlfriend, sister, daughter, a mentally or physically damaged girl?

    • In that case then doesn't that reason apply to FEMALE ADULTS like Debra Lafave and Mary K who both knew full well the age of those boys? And the female list goes on. Neither of the two out of the many that get away with it were put in jail after even after being warned and still having sex with them multiple times? Google the big list. If it were my girlfriend, sister, daughter who purposefully lied jeopardizing someone future, I'd say suffer the consequences. Females want no responsibilities

    • i'm giving you a point of view from a perspective you're unable to understand. If you have to check ID of the girl you're going to sleep with then you know full well you shouldn't be doing it. I'm not saying the lying girls are right or blameless but, I'm saying you're wrong in thinking it's not your responsibility to turn them down. I don't agree with paedo women either I was referring to males 18+ who seek "cougars". Surely you have a duty of care to other peoples kids same as anyone else

  • I don't know about making the girls register as sex offenders, but I do agree it's completely unfair and it sends the wrong message. By letting these girls get away with it makes it seem like it's almost OK to lie about your age, which just isn't right because of what it can lead to. I do think they should also get some form of punishment, but I don't think they should be charged with a sexual offense.. maybe fraud? lol I don't know.

    • I agree with you but do you see it as a form of entrapment? And if anyone at all is going to be charged who should it be?

    • well entrapment only applies if the person being convicted of the crime was set up by someone in law enforcement, I don't think it applies to civilians (but the bases is the same.). I want to say they should both be charged, but I don't see how it would be fair for the adult to be charged when they honestly didn't even know they were breaking the law.

    • Well it's the same thing as entrapment. If the adult has tried to do the right thing they definitely shouldn't be charged with anything and it's wrongful conviction and that's not justice it's injustice.

  • I do believe the girl should have repercussions.

Like with the Akon situation a few years back; the fourteen year old girl snuck into a 21 + club and ended up dancing inappropriately with him and HE got the blame. uh-uh, it should be the parents as well as the girls themselves. Where the f*** where the parents? Shouldn't they be parenting? And the girls are old enough to have enough sense to know what they are doing is wrong

  • It's simple-there has to be tighter regulation in terms of entry to these clubs and people must possess ID with no entry under no circumstances should they fail to produce one. Should they then procure entry with a fake ID and proceed to lie to an unwitting guy about their age then they should be held accountable for multiple counts of fraud/misrepresentation in terms of forging documents attesting to their age and then misrepresenting themselves as being of the age of consent. These people sicken me in general and it is only testament to how wary one must always be when out.

  • I believe there should be consequences for sneaking into a place you're too young to legally be in. There should also probably be consequences for lying about your to someone who would not have had sex with you had they known your true age. However, I do not see why they should have to register as a predator or sex offender.

    • I do not think either party should be charged with a sex crime. It certainly isn't the guy/ older partner's fault, but the girl/ younger person still wasn't raping or sexually abusing anyone. It's wrong to deceive people that way and they certainly should not be able to accuse rape in that case, but I don't think it can count as a sex crime.

    • Well it's a felony to carry fake ID. Don't you think it should also be a felony to lie about age in order to accomplish a goal like having sex with someone who is older?

    • As I said, I think it should be considered a crime and have consequences. But I don't see why it should be considered a SEX crime.

  • Maybe you should PAY ATTENTION to driver's licenses or other government issues ID. If you are over 45 and messing around with girls that young then you deserve to go to prison.

    • LOLOL @ your last part HAHAHAHAHA that made me chuckle

    • Well isn't that presumptuous of you MzNatalie and what makes you assume the question would apply to me? Do you assume a drivers license could be given on line and or if one was even shown it couldn't be faked? And not everyone has a drivers license, do they? I also have to nephews one 15 and one 23 and no, no one deserves to go to prison unless their guilty of something. Please never sit on a jury, you are nonjudgmental and biased against men and it shows.

    • Make that you MzNatile are judgmental and biased towards me, not nonjudgmental as I mistakingly put.

  • Lol whaaat? Guys lie about their age too FYI.

    • I have yet to learn about a guy under age who has lied about his age and had sex with someone of age and even if were the case the female wouldn't be seriously charged if at all as proven even by the media time and again though you on the other hand you certainly would be charge.

    • Well that's exactly what this is about, changing the law in order to make it illegal for someone to lie abut their age have sex and the innocent getting the blame. In Texas just passed a law making it a crime to say you're someone other than who you are, don't think it includes nick names, but there's no nick sex age. So why isn't it possible to sign that into law too? Nearly all guys attract to younger girls NOT THE OLD BAGS LOL and it gets harder to tell age the older they get

    • Sorry, my last comment about old bags was suppose to go to the feminazi ^

  • That's fine with me, as long as guys go down for lying about their penis size.

  • The club in this case is responsible for that one, they are supposed to check id's and if she had a fake one, there is a law against that and you could have reported it. Boys and girls alike think it is cool to go into clubs where they can slip through, not just girls. Maybe you should try looking in respectable places for women instead of young girls and try not having sex on the first date. Or hell, try a prostitute, but I sure as hell wouldn't want you around my daughter. If she did something stupid like fake id, I would let her take the rap but an over 45 year old man looking for even barely 18 years olds. I think you have issues you need to address about yourself before you go harshly judging young kids. You are supposed to be a man looking for woman not a girl. (The word pedophile comes to mind though) At your age, you are not stupid. It sounds more like to me that you are just angry because you got caught and want to blame the kids.

    • And what respectable place would you be referring to to look? And no thank you for your immoral recommendation I never had or will do prostitutes. So you'll be making choices for her at age 18? I guess that means it's all about you. I do feel for your daughter. The legal age is 18 by law and 18 isn't a pedophile so please don't discredit yourself any further. As for you controlling comes to you. With that said, hello China Cuba, you are missing a femmie communist! Just sayin.

    • Nice try sleezebag. Which by the way, I don't normally talk that way but you have earned that title, because you chose to turn all of my words around to suit yourself and I am intelligent enough to see that what you accuse me of holds no water whatsoever. There are decent clubs where I go where the people there are consenting adults and instead of ranting like a little boy blaming an obviously under 18 year old girl for acting like one, yes, you should have reported it to the authorities so that

    • they could monitor the club and the ID situation better. You won't do a prostitute but you will scour the town in the middle of the night looking for naive girls who have just become legal to corupt them or they are ho's anyway and know what they are doing if they choose to have sex with a man over 45. Your arguement is lame. My daughter would have more sense than that, because she has a good mother, not one that teaches her to f.ck old men for money and she is 18 so she is OK to do it. If you h

  • Those older guys shoud know better than to be looking at a young woman if she looks barely eighteen, it's more his fault that hers. Use your common sense!

    • And I completely disagree. That means you're OK with a girl lying then a guy taking the fall for her dishonesty and deceitful actions the equivalent of framing someone. What if the guy is only 23? Not only that but the law states age 18 and up regardless if their barely look 18, if their 18 their 18. What is it with the female gender when a man looks at a younger woman, is it jealousy? And on the other hand females are OK with older women and younger men and that's hypocrisy.

    • QA if you're having to check people's ID then you really should not be having sex with them, be honest now it's common sense you're asking for trouble. Anon is right. As for your reasoning that women are jealous of girls, no love it's a reminder of how stupid we were at 18 to know any better and fell for what the older "wiser" (supposedly) man told us...we're just looking out for them warning them about men like you who'll use them and throw them to the side once you've had what you wanted.

    • No, I'm not OK with the girl lying. I think when a guy meets a girl and is not quite sure if she's over 18, he should ask if he could meet her mom or dad, at least someone who knows her, to be on the safe side. I understand your pissed because of the way some of these young girls act. Most of them are'nt innocent, they know what's going on, but it is up to the older person to use their wisdom and think of their safety. I'm not one of those females who are jealous of the younger ones.

  • I think it's wrong to charge either person with a sex crime here. I think that the girl should DEFINITELY be charged with something - even a high fine - but SOMETHING. The guy did nothing wrong by believing she was of age, so long as the words came from her lips and they did not meet each other in real life or see each other online using something like Skype - because at that point, the guy should've been able to tell that she was underage.

    • That's not true in the clubs I've seen girls who look every minute of 20 years old who turned out to be 15 or so and what was in real life. Same thing online, the question applies when a girl lies about her age online or in person and they end up having sex with a guy who she lied to who had every reason to believe she was of age and him having no reason not to believe her, and then he ends up being charged for having sex with a minor going to prison and having to register as a sex offender.

  • Well I don't think the girl should be charged with a sex crime, but the guy certainly shouldn't. It's f***ed up.

    • I happen to agree with you all the way, but if anyone at all is going to be charged with a sex crime which should it be?

    • Nobody should be charged with a sex crime unless the girl is obviously young and the guy is stupid enough think she's legal. But if that were the case the guy might just be insane and not get convicted anyway. Otherwise if someone has to be charged with something I'd say the girl should be charged for deceiving or something. I don't even know, but I don't really think anybody should be charged with anything.
