I have been seeing/sleeping with this guy for a little bit now. Last night was our 3rd time... I was trying to make this be a ''friends with benefits'' type of thing, even though we didn't start as friends. However, I think I am falling for him.. Last time I saw him, he didn't want me to leave after we've done it. He treated me somewhat like a girlfriend, which freaked me out as I was leaving. I just didn't see it coming.. Anyway, its been a while since we saw each other. He came over last night and we did it. After that he wanted to lay down ..I tried to be cuddly, but he didn't put his arm around me or anything. It was so weird and unexpected?! Intead we talked for the rest of the night. He did most of the talking at the beginning and told me about his life and his past, as well as what he's doing right now. He told me scary things about his past, things I didn't expect.. He asked about me and we talked about me for a bit. Then he compared us...bad vs good.. From then on we talked about religion and the world and just random stuff. He also talked a lot of crap about my ex (they happen to be friends) To tell the truth, I had a great time. There was so much we could talk about. Last time I saw him, he didn't want to talk much...he wanted to sleep. This time he didn't shut up for hours! And the whole time we were lying on the bed, his arm wasn't around me. At one point he turned towards me and held my hand and kissed me? Then we were about to sleep and he turned towards me and hugged me. I turned my head away because I didn't want to breathe on him (something that I always did or do with anyone). He then asked what I had to do in the morning and according to my busy schedule said he should leave and let me sleep since the bed is small. So he left! I like him :( and I don't know what to do anymore. I tried to play it cool all the way here, but I am falling for him as much as I try not to. Does he even like me? I don't think so. Its just sex and its my fault..

I have a hookup buddy who is similar. Whenever we have sex he always wants me to stay and sleep in his bed with him. He's very touchy and cuddly some nights, and other nights rolls over and wants nothing to do with me...but he still wants me there. He kisses me, calls me babe, and some nights we talk a lot.

I don't think it's a case of him liking me, I think it's more a case of him wanting human connection and affection and closeness...but not wanting to date. It could be the same with your guy.
