Guy tells you he had a sex dream about you?

Some guy I have been flirting with in the past recently told me he had dreamt about sleeping with me. In real life we never did anything, we haven't even kissed. He got me intrigued though so I started to ask more questions about it, but then he just got ashamed I guess, or I don't know, he just said he didn't like to talk about it. He acted kinda cold and distant for the rest of that conversation. Has this any meaning, does he like me, is he attracted to me or do guys just randomly dream about this kind of stuff a lot?

  • Can't be sure. I've had sex dreams about people I'm not even attracted to (and people I am), so it could be that he just found it amusing, and that it didn't mean much. You can't really tell anything by dreams. As for his strange behavior, it seems like he expected a different reaction from you. I'm not sure what that means. You can ask, but that might make him more uncomfortable. It might be better to forget about it if it seems like he doesn't want to talk about it.

  • if I was highly attracted to him, I would like the idea. but it would make me feel like he only wanted sex

    • Uhm, I think its wrong to think this. Often dreams are just a 'breaking out' from fantasies you don't allow yourself or something. So in this case it would be the opposite.

  • I would say he's definitely attracted to you. He may have gotten uncomfortable for a few reasons. One might be that the dream was extremely vivid and maybe wildly kinky and he didn't want to risk you thinking the wrong thing. Maybe he got turned on talking about it and was afraid what he might say. Who knows but I'd say the odds are very good he's attracted to you.

  • I think it was kind of weird for him to even mention something like that to you when you two are not in a relationship, or anything like that. He probably feels embarrassed for bringing it up since he is not comfortable talking about it.

What Girls & Guys Said

  • It's quite common, especially for guys. People don't usually fantasize or have sexual dreams about people who don't appeal to them.

  • If he did have a dream, he didn't have to tell you. By telling you (even if the dream didn't happen that way), I'd say he was flirting a little. The embarrassment may have even about the flirting.

  • It's possible he's interested, but that's something he ought to keep to himself. If he "didn't like to talk about it", why did he bring it up in the first place?

    • We we're kinda talking about intimate stuff, turn-ons and such and he just blurted it out.

  • Obviously it means he likes you ALOT, sounds like he let it out about the dreams, then thought okay that's going a bit too far...

  • he likes you and its not easy to say the things happen in his dreams for him

  • I think it pretty much means he thinks you're hot and wants to f*** you. Beware, rumour has it that if someone tells you they have a dream about you then you will find yourself falling for them too. That's what happened to my sister apparently. And now that dude who dreamt about her is her boyfriend.

  • Well, guys do dream randomly about sh*t like this, but it's more likely he has some attraction to you. He wouldn't have told you about it otherwise.
