It's all about trial and error. I started by just trying to suck him deeper which still makes me gag sometimes. But I got it by just acting as if I was deep throating him, pushing my head down as far as I could go, I always move my head side to side a little when I'm near the base. Another tip use that spray for sore throats before you blow him, just one or 2 sprays will lessen your sensitivity (consequently his a little too for a second or two) to your gag reflex, letting you go deeper.
