Are mens nipples less sensitive than womens?

Assuming the guy doesn't have moobs lol he'd have smaller nipples. For women, smaller breasts generally equals smaller nipples/areolas which means more sensitivity because the nerves are less stretched(so bigger ones are less sensitive) But I've always heard guys say theirs aren't as sensitive. I know they can't necessarily be compared, but is it true from your experience? Also, do guys with moobs like having them played with?

  • actually, sensitivity is not about areola size, its about breast size.

    "Statistical analysis was undertaken to find any association among sensitivity, breast cup size, ptosis, weight of tissue resected, and nerve fiber density in the nipple and areola biopsy specimens. Sensitivity at the areola decreased with increasing breast cup size and ptosis. There was a weak correlation between nerve fiber density at the areola and breast cup size."

    Surgery cannot change fiber density or distance/number of the nerves on the breast, in removing parts of the breasts or areola it does remove some nerves and reattaches them to ones that have not been removed.

    "Psychological factors, such as dissatisfaction with body form or interpretation of lack of sensation in the areola as also affecting the nipple, may influence the patient's assessment of the nipple-areola sensitivity." -- this might explain why some women report it being more sensitive after surgery when in reality, nothing has actually changed aside from tissue and nerve ending removal.

    Since men don't have all of the lovely lady tissue we have between their nipple and areola, their nerves are compacted together in a different way, which makes them more sensitive than a womans.

  • Size and sensitivity have no corrolation in my experience. I've had girls with smaller nipples/areolas that felt nothing, and girls with larger ones that were super-sensitive, and everything in between. At one time I assumed that size might matter, but experience tells me it doesn't.

    Anyway, I know some guys like having their nipples stimulated, but I think most guys don't or don't get a lot out it.

    I know it seems kind of "boring" given that women's bodies are full of erogenous zones, but men really ARE mostly focused on their one main zone.

    • nerves are less stretched out with smaller breasts/nipples/areolas, so they're typically more sensitive. That's also why nipples/areolas or breasts in general become more sensitive after reductions or implants or nipple/areola reductions.

  • Not sexually, but if you've ever gotten a nipple twister they are sensitive in the fact that they are painful as hell!
