not a girl who has no opinions or backbone, but when push comes to shove she will let him be the man and wear the pants and as long as he is not harmful or controlling, does not mind letting him take charge a bit. do you think a lot of men like a woman like this? i am submissive by nature..i gravitate towards men who are dominant over me. nothing abusive but if they are slightly stubborn or opinionated I don't mind. I like a strong man. i guess this is why I am in my early 20s dating a guy in his early 30s. he does not treat me badly though. do you agree?

Men want submissive women and most women want dominant men, it's just natural. A woman needs a protector, a weak-minded (and bodied) man can't match these requirements.

For the case of my wife and me I of course do ask her opinion and I do respect her view on decisions to make. But the actual decision is made by me based on the information (including her opinion and the reasons therefore). This system works perfectly, it corresponds to our natural dispositions and to the Scripture.

My wife knows that I love her and always will treat her the best I can, even give my life for her. Therefore she accepts my decisions and trusts me that I thought it through.

I absolutely do not agree.

You might find there are guys who like a shy girl, or the quiet type and even occasionally the submissive type but not all men want that. Some guys even consider submissives to be their fantasy woman, but some guys want someone that challenges them someone that can charge right along side them into something unknown, be a partner or even a counter balance when needed. It may not apply to you but occasionally it's nice if the girl than teach the guy something he didn't know.

Absolutely, I definitely agree with this. Whether or not its natural is another story, but its definitely how men and women are socialized and how definitions of femininity and masculinity are created around this idea about the nature of female-male relationships.

This has been one of the main problems I have with men, because I'm not a submissive woman.

Not sure I agree. I am a sort of confident, assertive guy. I like a girl to challenge me a bit. not afraid to set me straight when I am being an a**hole. But still let me be a guy. actually the more assertive girl makes me up the dominant game just to keep up. not in a bad way. no violence or abuse at all. just still not afraid to put her head in the pillow and bang her from behind hard.

I like it when a girl has strong opinions of her own, and she has enough confidence to see thought the bullsh*t and set me straight... I can be stubborn and irrational sometimes and its good when someone cares enough to help me out by shining some light on what I'm doing.
