My boyfriend has a unique and unusual penis, I am a bit weirded out?

I feel really bad, I really love my boyfriend and he is a virgin and super handsome and muscular. He is a fitness trainer so you can only imagine. Anyhow, we have a great friendship and he is the most caring, fun, funny and sweet man I have ever met.

We have been taking things slowly, not jumping straight to sex, specially since he is a virgin (he is 20). He took his shirt and pants off for me the other day, and he was only wearing his boxers. I was playing with his penis and I noticed it was nice and thick and long. I got very excited and turned on by this. I asked him if I could take a peek and he said yes.

I was just surprised because his penis did not look like any other one I have seen before. Mind you the first time I saw a penis it took getting used to since I thought it was ugly as well. But now, I got used to the normal penis look, but am a bit weirded out by this new penis look I discovered.

I am looking for a bit of support, hopefully someone can help bring me at ease.

Has anyone ever been with a guy who has this type of penis? What especially weirds me out is the way the skin looks at the tip. Is there any surprise I should know about this penis type? I also found him smelly down there, so do you think that could be related to the type of penis he has? It is so different from what I am used to seeing.

In the US, most guys you will run across have a circumcised penis, which means the foreskin has been cut off and the skin sewed back together. Your guy is uncircumcised. In most of the rest of the world, that's what penises look like, because most other countries don't routinely circumcise males (Jewish and Muslim countries mostly excepted, because they do it for religious reasons).

It didn't used to be common in the US either, until some liberal doctors in the 50s and 60s started telling everyone that circumcision was necessary for all boys because otherwise they wouldn't keep themselves clean. Given that males had somehow survived this way for millions of years, that's obviously false, but during that time, people believed whatever their doctors told them, because they tended to be among the highest educated people, and because the culture was that you simply listened to your doctor and did what they tell you without question.

By the 70s, it was common enough that it was being done "so you look like daddy", which is an even stupider argument. Finally, starting in the 90s, people started asking questions, and wondering why they were putting their little boys through this, and many people realize that there's no good reason. Europe and the rest of the world has a very low rate of circumcision, and it's almost all for religious reasons, but their boys don't have any problem staying clean. Imagine having your labia cut off because people thought it was "too much to keep clean"!

Over the last 10-15 years, the rate of circumcision in the US has been falling, but it's still up around 80%, though it was over 95% at one point. Slowly, people are starting to understand that it was never necessary, and most men are better off being left natural.

In any case, all you have to do is pull the foreskin back, kind of like pulling your head through a turtleneck, and it will look like you're used to seeing.

It's not "unique" at all, it's actually ordinary. That's what the human penis actually looks like.

Every male is born with a foreskin ("that skin at the tip", as you put it) but, at least in the US, the majority of males have it surgically removed (an operation called circumcision) shortly after birth. In places like Europe, it's rarely done and circumcised guys are actually a minority there. So technically, that is what a "normal" penis looks like. It's the rest of the guys you've seen who are "different" (in the context of nature, not demographics).

If you're used to the circumcised "look", fear not. Simply pulling back on the foreskin will retract it and reveal the glans ("the head") and the look you're more used to. It's not like it's a completely different organ, it just has something extra. It's really just an extension of the skin of the base of the penis that covers and protects the glans when not "in use", so to speak.

The smell is perfectly normal. Just like vaginas, penises have their own smell too (if they're not circumcised). As long as it isn't particularly strong or foul, it's perfectly natural. It shouldn't knock you off your feet but it is noticeable. Since circumcision is still the norm in the US, most people don't know that and assume that if there is a smell, it must be an infection. Not true. The human body makes all kinds of smells but we're so used to sanitizing and scrubbing everything that we've apparently forgotten it and we've come to identify something totally normal as "weird" or "unclean".

Give it a chance, you may come to like it. I've heard stories of girls who we're weirded out at first too and now prefer a natural guy.

I'm not super savvy on genitalia, tbh. But it looks like a penis to me! I would imagine this to be an uncircumcised penis. Yes, this penis looks very different from what I've seen, but I haven't seen much lol.

Just like vulas, penises come in all different shapes and sizes! Do some research on uncircumcised penises to help you find out how different they can be and look and you'll find that they are all very different looking! That penis above doesn't look gross at all to me. I was expecting a lot worse haha.

As for the smell... that is his hygiene. Maybe have him shower before action or keep baby wipes handy for in the moment stuff? (does that work? no idea lol).

But ask him to give you a tour of how his genitalia works and likes to be touched. that would be helpful lol!

But note that this is probably not abnormal and is most likely natural!

Your boyfriend is perfectly normal. He has an uncircumcised penis which every male is born with (before they get the foreskin removed).

He isn't cleaning his penis properly which could explain his odor.

He has to move the foreskin back and make sure he wipes it thoroughly.

To avoid his smelly scent , I would tell him

"Lets take a shower together" before we do any intimate things, or be completely honest with him about his odor (it may offend him, but sometimes honesty is the best policy).

Getting straight-up vitamins and proteins down there is what you want to do. You can use a penis health creme for this.. Man1 Man Oil is the one I use and it has improved function and sensitivity and led to some great performances. You can get it online.

Don't worry about that... it is common. But you need to be using a penis health creme daily to protect your skin from chafing, discoloration and even numbness... these are the real dangers of masturbation and can really affect your sex life. No there's nothing wrong with being a little weirded out if it's not totally normal looking... I would use a penis health creme to make certain that you are keeping yourself soft, smooth and hydrated- get one with lots of vitamins!

If odor does continue to be a problem, have him try using a first class penis health cream (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) that contains vitamin A. That vitamin has anti-bacterial qualities that fight unwanted penis odor; if applied via a cream, it can directly target the tool.

Dude, size really shouldn’t be that big of an issue, no pun intended. There is something to be said for being sensitive, have good technique and make sure to be respectful. Not everything has to be about dick size. Another thing? Keep yourself clean and well-hydrated. Nothing worse than an unclean or dry penis.

I can tell you one thing, many penises are shaped differently. Vulvas for us are unique to each person. Im sure my vagina looks a lot different then your vagina so don't worry. Guys can be so overdramatic
