Advice for two people losing their virginity together?

I always assumed the guy I would lose my virginity to would have more experience, simply because there aren't tons of virgins these days. But it doesn't matter to me either way, as long as the person is someone I like or connect with. The guy I'm interested in happens to be a virgin like me, and we're both in our early 20's. I know that as virgins, he will likely "finish" quickly, and I might move awkwardly. Are there any things we can do to make it less awkward for the two of us? Any feedback on this subject would be appreciated!

Sex is an instinct so if you both are having foreplay and are getting "lost in the moment" there is no reason why your natural instinct shouldn't kick in.

just have fun with it, I had a similar situation as you :) don't worry about any of it, and just because its his first time, don't assume an early finish, a lot of guys have had lots of (practice) so they won't do that, a guy's first time is like a test to a lot of guys,

I would recommend just embracing the awkwardness, haha. Try to be playful instead of serious and somber. It's kind of a good way to acknowledge that hey, this is our first time, let's just have fun instead of worrying about making it seem like we're good at this.

You're completely right. And it's kind of funny that you're jealous of virgins, but I still appreciate the answer. We don't even know if/when we can get together, but we really click personality wise and as far as what we're into (would like to try) sexually. If all works out, we'll be each others' first everything - even first kiss. He actually claims he's most excited about that part. haha. =)

I personally think people place too much importance on a person's sexual status (virgin or non). I don't see either as being either good or bad. Thank you for the wonderful advice and kind wishes. I hope things work out for you too. Just keep in mind, if you end up losing your v-card with a non-virgin, it doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Just find a nice girl who is patient and understands. Everyone's a virgin to begin with. Some people just get arrogant and forget how it felt.
