I usually use tampns and then a panty liner just in case you never know. I will usually change them every 4 hours. The maximum hours you are allowed to have them in for is 8, on regular style, 6 on super and I don't know about light. I will try to get away with using a tampon through out the night for 8 hours but it's hard because what if you wanna sleep in and sleep 10-12 hours? You have to wake up in the middle of the night and change. The pas and specialized night time pads don't helps because I don't know what I do in my sleep but it will end up running past the boundaries of the pad and ruining underwear. I would say tampons the whole period time.

I think I have quite heavy bleedings, so I use both tampons and pad at the smae time. I change tampon every time I visit the rest room and sometimes when I just feel I need to change.

Since I wear both pads and tampons for extra protection, I don't need to change the pad that often. It doenst get blood on it. So, once a day I would say.

3. Do you sleep with a tampon or pad?

You shouldn't sleep with a tampon in, but I do that anyway, because I'm afraid to bleed through my clothes...

I only wear pads, never liked tampons. I change them twice during the course of the day and then when I go to bed I put on a new pad and change in the morning again. Although I will admit I do get lazy sometimes :/ especially on the last 2 days which is bad.

What brand of pad do you use? Do you use thck or thin pads?

I use Kotex, their medium pads for during the day and at night I use their night pads which is longer.

I just don't like the idea of having something stuck up inside of me. Pads are also more safer(no risk of TSS).

I use both during the day the first few days are heaviest for me so I use the tampax super absorbant and change every four hours and then i also have an always maxi for a bacķ up that has only needed to be changed once a day i only use the pads at night so for back up i just have a thick towel on the bed

I change the tampon every 8 hours, the maximum you can wear them for.

I change the pad whenever I feel like I have to.

I sleep with both. I know the risk of TSS but if I don't sleep with a tampon during the heavier days I may wake up to a mess -_-. So I set my alarm when it's been 8 hours since I inserted it, although I often ignore it lol.
