Taking a shower together?

Girls in particular, I am curious if you view taking a shower together as romantic or sexual (perhaps in between?) I want to do this with my girlfriend, but not necessarily as foreplay, just as a nice, fun gesture, wash each others hair, bodies, etc. I'm afraid I'm too much into romantic things and overlook that my girlfriend (or girls in general) might want some of them to be preludes to sex and get disappointed when I'm happy just taking a shower with them, or just cuddling, etc.

i think it could be very romantic or very sexual or just both at the same time. if you want to do it in a romantic way, I'd suggest doing it after sex, that way she wouldn't expect it to lead to having sex and would most likely view it as romantic, too (unless she's really horny, then it might not work in that favor)

personally, I'd rather take a shower with my boyfriend romantically than sexually.

It can be whatever you want it to be honestly. I've taken many showers with men before (only boyfriends, not just a ton of random men, haha) and sometimes it's sexual, sometimes it's sensual (which is more what you'r looking for, from the sounds of it - no sex) or it can just be a shower to save time and water. My fiancee and I do it all the time, shower together to save time and water.

As a girl, I might feel like a huge tease if we took a shower and there was no sex. I would see it as romantic if the guy reassured me that he was fine with JUST a shower.

On a given occasion it MIGHT not lead to sex. But you get naked and wet and slippery and touch each other and you are going to tell me that is not sexual? That is rationalization at it's best. It's fun and I like it, but it is disingenuous to say it is JUST romantic.

I love taking showers with my boyfriend. It's not usually a sexual thing for us. Showers are fun. I'm sure she won't be disappointed if it doesn't lead to anything.

ive done it before its really fun and it doesn't have to get sexual. Just be playful and wash each other like you said :)
