What were the rules? And how far did things actually go?

Yes and rules were that we played five card draw and any player who looses 3 hands in a row looses a peice of clothing. With 4 or more playing it keeps the game going for awhile. At the end of a hand only the winner is not considered to have lost the hand. Doesn't do any good to fold and it makes the game fun.

You take off one item whenever you lose a hand. It goes until players are naked.

Yes. I lose every hand -- even when I have great cards.

You're given chips, when you run out you have the option to buy back in, the cost is a piece of clothing. I've played a handful of times but only once where someone actually wound up naked. Everyone else just opts out once their down to undies.
