What's the most embarrassing thing you've been caught doing?

So, I went over to my friends house yesterday, I've known her and her family for 21 years and she's pretty much family. It looked like nobody was home so I used the key they gave me to get in (they have a really nice swimming pool and gave me a key so I can use it whenever).   • Until you KNOW that no-one is home, you need to know (or ring the bell) first.

    I would have asked her if I could be of help. She was as embarrassed as she was going to get so nothing ventured, nothing gained. She could say no and then you leave the room, or yes and you could join her. And even if she said no, when you left the room, she might think that she should get over the embarrassment and take advantage of your interest, and invite you back. If not, since you are good friends, it would be something about the situation to laugh about later.

    • I make off the wall comments a lot, and my friends know that. I also make make suggestive remarks to some people that can be taken seriously or laughed off, as the listener wants. But I am selective as to who I say many things too, so that it will not offend that person. It sounded in this case like a relationship that would be similar. But if she might be uncomfortable, you are right, don't say it.
