I do not discourage my girlfriend from wearing a skirt. Guys are going to have improper thoughts no matter what. If she wears a low cut shirt, yogas pants, tight jeans, a short skirt, etc etc... Guys have improper thoughts about girls no matter what and I don't want my girlfriend dressing like a nun (about which guys can still have improper thoughts)

haha, yup... There is an escalator in the Washington DC metro. It isthe tallest in the world (something like 21/2 stories). It is called the pantievator because it is almost impossible from not seeing up skirts as you ride up

Not many girls wear a dress, and I find it very cute, so when I see a girl wearing a dress it attracts my attention. Especially if she's good looking. Short skirts show off the legs, and if the legs are beautiful it's nice to see.
I'm not obsessed with what's underneath though, I'm actually quite sure what's there. But some girls just really look good wearing it. I would not stop my girlfriend from wearing a short skirt, she should be able to wear what she wants and whatever she feels good in. If her outfit looks nice and fits her then it's okay, but if it makes her look ugly or it doesn't fit her body then I will tell her. I will not force her to make decisions.

Depends on how well put together the girl is in the first place. If she's already good look, then daaayuumm. If not, then no not at all. I wouldn't *stop* any girl I'd be with.
