When a guy gets a boner, does his penis heat up?

I was hooking up with this guy last night pretty intensely and I just kinda want to know if I turned him on I guess? I couldn't completely tell if he had a boner because he was wearing jeans so idk, it was harder to feel. But I did notice his crotch area got very hot. I feel like that means he had a boner because it would make sense that if blood rushes to their penis then it would heat up. Am I right? Or could it just have been that his body was hot?
Yes, if a guy's crotch area gets very hot he most likely has a boner.
Vote A
No, heat is not the result of a boner.

  • Okay here is my research for you: The genitals of a male tend to be warmer than the rest of the body because it's on the outside of the body and packed into underwear and clothes all day. It will indeed get even warmer when the male becomes aroused and erect because of the sudden increase of blood flow there.

The blood is warm because it's in your body which has a stable temperature of 98.6 degrees Farenheit. The closes you get to orgasm, the warmer you might become because the penis will get to it's high erect peak in order to allow your best pleasure during orgasm. Your whole body will heat up during arousal because of blood flow and just the stimulant in which aroused you.

    • thank you

  • When my penis is hard, it is very warm to the touch. That is from all the blood pumping into it.

  • if its warm he has an easier time getting a boner and yes heat can cause a boner overall. but his d*** does not heat up if that makes sense be funny if it did lol

  • There is an increase in blood flow down there. When you blush... your cheeks feel hotter, because of the rush of blood. Same with down there.

  • I would assume it does get rather warm, because of all the blood flowing to that area.

  • Yeah it warms up due to the blood flow.

  • Why are you having sex anyway...you're under 18

    • obviously I'm not having sex if I don't even know if he had a boner. and he was wearing jeans. not sure how sex would work with those two slight problems..

    • "making out"...that would lead to sex, of course

    • but as you said, I'm under 18, why would I be having sex? i can make out with guys and still be a virgin... I just stop them from going farther than I would like?

  • its probably as warm as the inside of your cooch.

    • a. I don't know how warm that is. b. pretty sure it would be warmer cause it's inside my body, so no

  • Well, I'd say yes.
I'll admit this: yesterday was the first time I've ever seen and touched my boyfriend's member, and we've been together for six months. When I touched it, I noticed it was hotter than my hand. It was most definitely because he had an erection, I'm positive.

  • Yes.

  • Yes a boner is warm, but probably not warm enough to heat up thick pants.

    • i mean I felt heat like radiating from his crotch area haha. so if boners are warm I'm guessing it must have been that?

  • Yes. I have seen an inferred video of it. That's cause the blood rushes.

    • ...why have you seen an inferred of a boner? haha

    • Lol

    • It was on a documentary called the human animal :P
