it could be a few things

It could be nerves. If you are excited, like overly anxious it can effect you or if you are suddenly concerned with your lack of full-on boner then you mind can actually sort of play against you.

It's quite normal if you are still a virgin and this has been your first sexual experience. It can also be that you might need to get visually stimulated while having sex, try watching p*rn and if she doesn't want that, then you'll just have to imaginate harder.

Best thing would be to have a long foreplay before having intercourse, so a lot of kissing and touching to get very aroused.
