Girls, sex on your period: yay or nay?

I used to think girls didn’t have sex on their periods because they didn’t want to. But now I know that some girls actually feel hornier on their periods. However, many of them either are embarrassed or think the guy won’t agree. So, girls of GAG, would you want to have sex on your period? Would you want to receive oral? Why / why not? I’d actually be happy to have sex with my girlfriend or even give her oral during her period if she wanted, partly because I’d want her to feel sexually satisfied, and partly because the idea of having sex with a super-horny, fertile girl really turns me on. I like sex to be dirty/sweaty anyway, so menstrual blood wouldn’t bother me. Also I’ve heard that having sex can ease menstrual cramps.

  • I've had sex when on my period, it just takes a little more effort hunting up towels and showering and washing everything. But then I'm not a squeamish or superduper bacteria-phobic girl.

    I love guys who don't consider the period that big of a deal, makes me feel a lot better about all the hassle and that nice pms stuff. I'll NEVER take the initiative for sex when I'm on my period though, unless I am a 105% sure he's okay with it (meaning he's taken initiative more than once and expressively told me that he doesn't care when I remind him of my period). Being turned down because you've got a period would feel absolutely awful, god I'd feel so damn dirty (in a bad way), no way I'd take a chance for that. For this case better safe than sorry.

    My advice to you would be feel her out when she's got the period, tell her that you don't care and that you can do it in the shower if she's worried about clean up and feeling dirty. If she's hesitating but not quite in the "Nuh-uh. No way. Ever." you could give it a try after some convincing. If she goes the not ever route you should leave her alone, at least for that week. Try again next time and if the door is still closed it's probably going to be closed forever.

    On the subject of oral I'd say it's the odd female who'll let your face get close to that area during that time. Besides, would you really want to have your mouth there? Stuff's basically blood. Smells like blood, looks like blood, probably tastes like blood. Yuck.

    And about easing the cramps? Don't know about others but it works splendid for me.

    • Oral sex can be performed with a tampon in. That means no blood, taste or smell. When ready to have vaginal sex, just remove the tampon. As for the string, it does not get in the way and so what if he sees it. He knows you are on your period.

    • I guess for some a tampon would work. I'd probably be too worried about it leaking to be able to enjoy myself though.

  • I am usually horniest the week before my period. But I wouldn't want to have sex while on my period, it's messy and I just don't think that's attractive to be having sex and simultaneously bleeding out of my uterus. However, there were times that a guy I was with insisted eating me out on my period, I had a tampon in, so I was fine with it, but was a little worried that I would taste different or something.

  • Ewww no! I'm grossed out by own body during that time and the last hing I want is to be touched or let someone else in on it. MAYBE if it was like the 4th day when there's not as much blood but it would have to be in the shower where I don't have to see any blood.

  • One thing you have wrong. During a period a woman is at her most infirtile point. The egg in her uterus was not impregnated and was cast out. Once out of the uterus, it is nearly impossible to get pregnant. But not completely. There are straggler eggs sometimes when two were in the uterus
