Why does alcohol make you horny?

Why is it that when you drink you just want to have sex even if you're not totally sloshed?

It makes some people horny because in affects your judgment and in your subconscious (yes even females) are thoughts about sex.

Its not just alcohol but its any mind altering substance that makes people horny because it brings out inner thoughts and desires just like marijuana and other drugs as well

So why do people see drunken sex as such a bad thing if its really our subconscious, our true desires to want to have sex?

Its not really a bad thing, well at least not to me. Some people would say that its a bad thing because you just do it when you're drunk when you wouldn't normally do it. It looks like as if alcohol is making you do it but in reality all the alcohol is doing is bringing out feelings that are already there and giving you the courage to act on them.

It definitely lets your drop your inhibitions. Those voices that tell you hey this might not be a good idea go away. I personally like having drunk sex I think it's more enjoyable personally. It's just important to not get too careless and still remember to wrap it up.

Alcohol lowers your inhibitions. If you're horny when you drink, it's very likely that you're horny all the time, you just repress those feelings sober.

Some people are happy drunks, some people are sad drunks and some people like you (and me, heehee) are horny drunks.

Your actions are kept in check by your social filter. You might not normally have sex in a closet at a party while sober because this filter forces you to see the act as inappropriate, slutty, and worrying about what others would think. The drunker you get, the more the filter loses its effectiveness, thus horny closet sex ensues.

Because it suppresses inhibitions. A good and a bad thing; some inhibitions are worthwhile.
