I have this and felt awful since I was about 12 and began sports and gym at school. I even saved up the money for surgery at 18 (I'm 20 now) (Yes, if you search for large pubic mound or mons most results will point to surgeons!). Don't do it! It's dangerous and completely unnecessary. I was lucky to find a tumblr called the Large Labia Project and some other sites on bodies and boobs. Wow! What a change from seeing that! I read and cried all night - cried with relief and feeling understood and that others have a vagina like mine and lips like mine and a clit like mine and even mounds like mine and they struggled too and found a way to love it and it helped me love me the way I am. Now I have a guy who also loves me for me and loves all my body and my soul. He helps me feel desirable and desired and I've found ways to feel beautiful and just be me. But I learned to love me first. I even feel now that when I wear tight skirts or jeans or a bikini or suit or sport clothes to run or yoga or swim or sun at the beach... I feel I'm beautiful and showing other girls they don't need to be afraid or ashamed of their bodies. So, love you! And then you won't have to worry about guys finding you hot or sexy. You find you hot and sexy and beautiful and know that you deserve only guys who will respect and love you for you, your personality, your weirdness, your heart, your soul, your mind and your body, every bit. I think it's hot though at least you don't have one of those scary inside out vaginas and a mound is normal and nice. Think about it, who would want a skinny vagina instead of a warm tight and "fleshy" one. What is really going on here and needed is for us all to not only accept, but to love our bodies as we are, to love ourselves and to know we deserve partners who love us and therefore love our bodies. @voxangela Hi there, You guys have no idea how we feel as guys about the pubic mound. For me personally, the bigger the better. I would kill to have a girl like that and frankly you don't come accross this rare species easily. I just think this is the sexiest and most adorable sight to see on a woman's body. Agreed... I am the same way, and for a long time I was very insecure about it... Bit th man that I am with right now makes me feel like I am perfect no matter what! :) and whoever will be looking at your should think the same thing if he loves you! ;) I don't think much of it anymore becausehes the only one that had I like it! I can't speak for all guys, but for myself it isn't an issue. If I am down there I am not going to stop and ponder if it is chubbier then I expected.
Most guys don't really care. There are a few that will look upon that and make a fuss but they're poor people and do you honestly want to be with someone who's that judgmental?
What you describe young lady, is most time a turn on. Your concern should be how much attention it attracts rather than if it will be turn off :)

I have the same thing. It is really noticeable when I lay at the beach and I feel funny about it. I notice guys stare at it as they walk past but maybe they would look there even if it wasn't sticking out so much. I found shaving helped a lot to lower it. The problem with shaving is you get the cameltoe thing.
I have the same problem. It is my BIGGEST insecurity. I'm terribly embarrassed/ashamed of it. I don't know if I'll ever be able to be with anyone because of it.
I hear there is a surgery you can get. If so, I want to get it because I see no other way of getting over the feelings I have about this particular area.
