My boyfriend likes to smell my dirty panties, should I let this behavior continue?

When I'm not home he says he takes my underwear from the hamper and sniffs them while he masturbates. I find this very strange because to me my dirty underwear smell unclean. I've seen him sniff them when I take them off and it gives him an erection, is this a strange fetish or is it more common than I think?     There is maybe one thing that you haven't fully considered; we are actually animals, and we are here to reproduce. It's just the evolution has favoured our species over others to the point of where we are now. But we are still animals.
