Viewing classmate (girl) sexually - is this wrong?

i sit next to a girl in class. she's hot but not slutty. she's an aquaintance, and I don't think I want to pursue her really, but still. 99% of the time, I see her respectfully as a good friend to talk to. and then there's that 1% of the time where I think "damn id like to hit that" is this normal? and does this make me a bad person, or is it just a natural part of being a man?

Perhaps I should clarify. Let's say hypothetically, a girl found out a guy next to him viewed her in that way. Would she be flattered even ever so slightly? Offended, or grossed out?

If their offspring was substandard it meant their child was more likely to die or fail to pass on their genes. So women typically are creeped out by unattractive guys. If a guy like Brad Pitt thought of them in that way they would be flattered.
