Were you ever teased for being circumcised or uncircumcised?

I'm writing a research paper on circumcision. After turning in my outline my professor wrote "What about possible social issues, boys being teased for being the only on uncircumcised?" and I'm just pretty sure this doesn't happen and there aren't studies on it. Obviously this isn't something I can actually source, but if I can't find a real source I'm just going to tell her "Yeah, I asked my male friends and they said X but I couldn't find ANYTHING on it so I didn't include it" or something. So, guys, have you ever been teased for being circumcised or uncircumcised?(By your peers, not by some girl who said "ew, gross") If you comment, also include your country, please.

  • I was tease everyday from starting high school for being circumcised, it was relentless and it did not stop at just verbal abuse although the effects of the verbal abuse was far more devastating even worse was in the second year the classes became mixed and of course the boys told the girls about my "deformity" there was only one other boy in the school who was circumcised and half way through the second year he left, I got it all daily " thats him thats the freak, bellender, mushroom dick, scrag-end, remnant cock etc" finger pointed little finger waved snipping finger actions with other hand onto little finger followed by laughter and one of the aforementioned comments.
    and it did not stop totally when I left school I had several bad experiences in the years that followed.
    And yes I did try for year to convince myself that all that rubbish you hear about it being cleaner was true and that it prevented STDs etc but those feelings of hate for what had been done to me never left me until I stopped trying to justify circumcision as soon as I face what I knew to be true that it is pointless and stupid only then did it become possible for me to move on and eventually after some more bad situations find my partner
    circumcision destroys not just the foreskin but a part of the soul each in turn tries to find solace in that which they try to believe knowing it to be false.

  • I was circumcised as an adult. I grew up in Canada.

    I was never teased by peers, beyond general 'we're better' by both groups.

    I have -heard- of teasing (not from a 'friend of a friend', but guys directly). It seemed to be more guys from areas with -very- high circ rates though, 90% plus.

    Had more negative reactions from girls, but that's a different thing as you say.

  • Nope never been teased, although I've had a condition pointed out to me which I actually am currently in the booking for getting solved via circumcision.

  • I have never been teased but mostly that's because no one really knows besides partners or certain female friends. Guys never teased me but I have heard some guys make jokes about other people they knew they weren't circumcised. A female friend of mine kinda made jokes or just thought it would be gross but I can't say she teased me. She just had a preference. I now some people assume most Mexicans are also uncircumcised and they kinda laugh.

    on here & a couple other places there are some folks who like to make circumcised guys feel bad or like they have monsters for parents.

    there are also a bit of the opposite. I've never heard of people trying to make uncut guys feel like they had/have bad/evil parents.
