I regret getting married. I don't regret losing my virginity (a decade before I got married and to someone I only dated a few times).

As you get older you'll realize we put too much pressure on ourselves about sex. If you're an adult enjoying an adult relationship with someone and want sex, why not enjoy it together? I'd rather have fun and not be hung up about whether or not the guy I'm with is going to marry me some day. (if I thought I had to be married to have sex, I would have had a lot of miserable marriages rather than just one).

I don't regret losing it before marriage because I had some great experiences.

But I do regret losing it when I did, and wish I would have waited a little longer.

People put so much emphasis on waiting until you are married to lose it.

-What if you never do get married?

-Marriage doesn't finalize anything, it can easily end in divorce.

You can still give yourself to one and not be married.

It doesn't take any special factor away from the intimacy.

No, I've never regretted it. But, I'm still in a relationship with the man I lost it to over 3 years ago so I guess that's why it doesn't bother me so much.

I do because I'm a Christian and I lost it when I was young, but I am still with the same guy.

I definitely don't regret it. I lost it to someone who was a virgin as well, and we were both ready and waited until we knew each other and were comfortable.
