Girls: Have you ever sent nudes and regretted it?

When I was younger, I was used to guys calling my ugly. one day, a guy at a gas station hit on me and I was so flattered. He was attractive, drove a nice car, etc. He showed active interest in me for months. After a few months, I sent him some nudes without my face in it. I feel SO BAD about it now, over a year later. Because the guy only wanted me for sex (which he never got). I also found out over a year later, that he is a married man. I feel so awful! I had no idea he was married and I don't know why I compromised myself like that in the first place...it was a vulnerable time in my life after several traumatizing experiences and I just wanted someone to love me. Obviously, something like this will never happen again. Girls, am I the only one? Have you ever sent nudes and regretted it? I'm scared he will someday post these online...

Nope you aren't the only one trust me.I believe there are some girls outside there who made the same mistake just like you did. I did this too in past and though it were all faceless,I still regretted it because I found out that most of these guys are jerks.Its not that I am scared if they posted it online,It just about how I felt stupid by giving them so much right to see myself that way.I have no idea why the hell I did that but I know I can do nothing about it.It happened so lesson learnt.Now I am a very tough and wise person.Hugs for you.you will be aright.

one had my lower face in it. but they were sent via email. I'm scared his email might be looked at and the pics might be posted...it's identifiable by my email address is what I'm scared of

I honestly have send many nudes on my mobile devices which will probably be kept and used on the guys phones that I sent it too. I was so angry at myself and hurt very badly. It’s like getting shot. I just died. I’m 22! And regret my past mistakes. It hurts so bad I just want to run to my therapist and cry. But I hope that sharing this story other girls and guys will understand the burden it is to send nudes. 😓

You are definitely not the only girl who has send a guy nudes so don't beat up on yourself. Look at leaving your face out as a good thing but sadly you cannot undo actions. Hopefully you learned to never send anyone naked pictures. I have sent them tons of times but I send my ex pictures of me nude and I really regret it so just learn from your mistakes and try to move forward. You should never rely on anyone for reassure if you are comfortable in your skin it shouldn't matter if anyone thinks you look good.

Work on improving your self esteem so that you don't need to rely on anyone for a boost or you won't compromise & do things you will later regret. You said the pics were faceless so look at that as a good thing. Its too late to take it back. Time to focus on moving forward & not make the same mistake again. No. The pics were faceless. Don't worry about it. You mentioned being vulnerable atm but you regain your power when you decide it won't happen again. EVERYONE makes mistakes.

by younger if you mean pre high school I think many people have been called names and have had a bad expense I know I did.

I've been given nudes by girls before and I'll NEVER post them online just use them for myself.

how do you feel about yourself? are you comfortable when you look in the mirror? to me that's all that should matter.

now I am, back then I wasn't. I learned how to stand tall and dress for my body shape and now I get hit on all the time. I guess I'll modify my question to ask also if any guys have ever posted nudes of other women. do you keep your nudes safe so one of your friends couldn't find them and post them?

I have them on my computer and a password set up. also I have set up what would look like a maze of folders to anyone else but for me I can find what I'm looking for easily. as another note I don't let Anyone in my room unless I'm there and even than I make sure to close any p*rn or what ever else I wouldn't want them to see. I enjoy my privacy and may even over react when I think it's been violated.

I would like to think most guys respect pictures like that. personally I like to think of nudes as a special gift from the girl who sent them to me and offer one in return. so far only one of my ex girlfriends has said yes to getting one. I just want to add that I can't speak for all other men just myself.

i hope most men are like you! I guess what scared me the most is this guy is married ( I had no idea). if he feels that comfortable betraying his wife and taking advantage of a young girl (after knowing the trauma that had happened to me), I don't think he'd think much about posting those pictures

i really am freaking out...there's one with a my face partially in it, but since they were sent via email they could be identified if someone accessed his email or something. I guess I'm most scared that his wife (Who I SWEAR I had no idea existed) would go through his email and see them and slut shame me or something...

Nope, before I ever made a decision to send them, I knew what I was getting myself involved with. And, I trusted the guy.. Not to say he wouldn't be capable of turning on me. But, I felt comfortable with myself and my body enough to do so. Sometimes I feel like I should probably feel "bad" or have some type of "regret" rushing over me, but I honestly don't. Hell, I wanted nudes in return, purely for sexual gratification only. That's all.
