This week on Twitter. Episode 1.

BruceJender

I've been wanting to do this for a while now. I've been thinking of making a series on GaG in which I post the craziest/dumbest things I get on my Twitter feed, then comment on them. The reason why I want to post these things is to relieve the cringe and be able to rant about it to complete strangers rather than to people I know :)

I'm not sure how many times I will post these sorts of things, but hopefully at least 3-4 times a week (although I find stuff like this every day - so whatever).

Let me know what you think, and let me know what you think about today's video!

This is a video posted by Colin Moriarity on Twitter. All credit goes to ABC.

So, this student(?) is being interviewed by ABC Nightline and is interviewing the leader(?) of the AntiFa group attempting to shut down a speaker (not sure who it is).

So he explicitly tells the interviewer that he "doesn't care" that wanting to shut down the event is an infringement of the first amendment.

Now, I'm not an American, but we have free speech laws in Europe, so I can understand how fucking moronic and fascistic Harry Potter's gay cousin Barry Trotter seems.

And, "I don't think it's a relevant document right now". ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!

The irony of it all is that he's using that very same first amendment to speak utter tripe like this.

My question for you guys is: Is this getting any worse? How more disconnected will the academia bubble become?
