There are a few events and places where women are highly sexualized and I will cover 3 of them. Basically Bars/clubs, proms and weddings/funerals/churches. Please bear in mind that these are my solutions of how I'd fix them and you may agree it is a great solution or feel there's a better solution.
Places 1 ---Bars/Clubs
Women are trained at a very young teen age maybe 13, that she needs to reveal skin with places of public where drunkenness and wild behavior may be presented and men have low resistance to properly value if the woman may be good or bad for her because since men are visual creatures, he uses her body to see which is most appealing to his eyes. Women should know this but their training is not apt to critique it and she somehow expects the man not to be interested in her only for her body. A woman's joy is not predicated in her body revealing 70% skin or more.
Way to rid/lessen
There needs to be public teaching in 12th grade about social appropriateness in the event that a man or woman may enter a bar or club entering upon their 21st birthday so he and she can know better how to interact with the opposite sex. Women should be taught with caution that having kneecap length skirts or dresses can be valuable in today's world and that competition ought not be skin based. By having clothing requirements more appropriate to mature dating events, it better weeds out the fakes and players from the relationship minded.
Place 2 ---Prom
These basically 17 to 19 year old people are expected to reveal a different amount of skin at such events that it takes the focus off the real purpose and intent of proms. The music is directed in a way in which it glorifies the female's maturity and proclaiming the male as lucky to be with the female. Why can't it also be a case where the female is lucky to be with the male. The male is expected to wear long sleeve clothing and nearly no skin except hands and face showing while the female can show 75% of her back, her entire arms and most of her legs. This is not practical because at the times proms occur, it's summertime and in some places over 100 degrees temperature.
Way to rid/lessen
By either allowing males to bear the same amount of skin as females are or by requiring females to cover more of her body up so she is not valued by just her body, we are focusing more of the enjoyment of their youth and dating with dancing than on how revealing she needs to be to be valued or wanted to be with. There's no reason whatsoever that a male at a prom can't wear clothes similar to what Peter pan wore or Fred Flintstone or Barney Rubble wore. It's dictatorship by the prom promoters in an effort to make more money. There ought to be courses available for how to use a prom to be more beneficial to focus equal importance on both sexes.
Places 3 ---Weddings, Funerals, Churches
Females are taught at flower girl ages that being pretty must mean wearing dresses that shows her arms and most of back and that she needs to be pretty to look at. If we used that same logic with men, then many men today would be dressed like at tribal weddings where their entire top body was revealed and their legs and feet were shown. At any traditional wedding, a man would be mocked if he wore anything that revealed even 10% of his back and any part of his body other than maybe half his arms if he wore a short sleeve shirt. Females are expected to show her backbones while men are not. I am in no way saying men and women need to wear equal clothing but any part of the body that women reveal, the man should be able to reveal equal parts.
Way to rid/lessen
By ending traditional expectation of clothing choices and letting men have the freedom to reveal as much of his body at a wedding as he prefers and not giving females the say so in which suit that the man needs to wear to be valuable to her. A man is just as valuable as a woman is and a man does not need to be fully covered to prove his love for his woman. The male in Roman marriages didn't always wear clothes that fully covered them and men should not be disallowed from revealing his back at a wedding.
Final statements
We need to focus on how to make social events more balanced and nor focus solely on sex differences between what is worn. Men have just as much right to wear clothes where his back is revealed such as these without judgment.
