What We Learned form Day 6 of the January 6th Hearing

One of the closest aides to the White House testified under oath on Tuesday what she saw and heard directly from the people involved in a surprise hearing by the January 6th Committee on the Attack of the U.S. Capital building.

Here's what we learned from Cassidy Huchinson:
- Trump sent people he knew were armed to attack the Capital
- Trump knew the election was not stolen
- The attack was planned months before
- Trump knew his pre-planned actions to attack the Capital were illegal
- Trump knew his actions could get people killed
- Trump ignored requests to stop the attack
- Trump intimidates witnesses who testify to Congress
- Trump Chief of Staff expected violence
- Trump Chief of Staff refused to intervene
- Mark Meadows and Rudy Giuliani asked for Presidential pardons
- Trump has many temper tantrums and throws food and knocks over tables
- Trump attacked his limo driver when he refused to drive him to the Capital
- Trump was ok with the Vice President getting killed

Here's what Trump tweeted on Truth Social in response:
- I did not know Cassidy (the attractive 25 year old working for his Chief of Staff)
- I never throw food
- I never choked the driver
- I never complained about crowd size

We knew it wasn't a "mostly peaceful protest" because nothing got set on fire.

it's very Sad that so many citizens who were literally seeking a redress of grevences in and around what was until then "the people's house" ended up getting killed by an incompetent capital police force.

You would think a police force dedicated to securing the capital and seeing protests would have some more experience with crowd control. As not to shoot unarmed little girls, or induce a panic stampede in a enclosed space leading to many people to get trampled to death.

The fact that the building still stands and nobody was found to have anything than a walking Cain as a weapon does make me question your story.

Lets be honest they are political prisoners they never treated thousands of leftist who committed real crimes like this. It's not my eyes that are lying. Five people were caught with pistols, one who also had a load of Molotov cocktails in his vehicle, witnesses saw AR-15s, and the Oath Keepers had a cache of firearms ready to be used. The fact that more firearms weren't discovered has more to do with the police having to defend the Capitol from a violent mob than anything else. Or did all 147 of them who were injured just trip on the stairs?

You wouldn't know honesty if it came up and introduced itself to you by name.

@goaded having weapons outside, and under the 2nd amendment even inside the capital isn't a legitimate crime certainly not in your car.

Regardless I looked thou the list you provided me and found no evidence of anyone being armed in the building.

Its a bit of a shame that you think congress has the right to restrict American's right to protest and keep and bare arms, when we have 2 amendments that specifically say the opposite.

I get it, they think there are unwritten exceptions in the constitution letting them do whatever they want, typical excuse of any criminal.

@goaded Honestly read the constitution its only 11 pages and it tells you what little congress can do and by exclusion everything it can't. The 2nd amendment actually specifically says they can't abridge peoples right to keep and bare arms. It doesn't make any exception for the 'capital building' nor any other place under congress's control.

It also doesn't apply to private organizations like the NRA nor the states.

You want to know what is a scary attack on democracy, try looking at what Joe Biden's DOJ has been doing to his political enemies. They have violated the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th

1st: prosecuting people for saying things.
2nd: prosecuting people for simply having guns.
4th: breaking into peoples homes and stealing their personal property without serving a warrant describing any particular place nor thing to be ceased.
5th: Demanding testimony and robing people of their liberty and property without due process of law.
6th: Holding people in prison denying them their to a speedy and public trial.
8th: Exposing people held in prison to cruel isolation and treatment disproportionate to the minor charges if any against them.

Now he wants to violate the 9th as well like the court in reimposing roe v. wade.
Every government for the last 80 years as violated the 10th amendment in supporting nearly all of the alphabet of federal agencies not mentioned in power in the Federal constitution.

Nonetheless Joe Biden has thus far proven himself to be the most criminal president in our history.
I wish i could say this is surprising but this is the same Joe Biden who had the FBI spy on his political enemies in 2016. Its rather clear Joe Biden has never had much respect for anyone's rights nor the law.

Not really interested in reviewing a minor protest 1,000 miles away, instead of addressing the one that happened only a few miles away actually resulting in millions in damages, threatening my home, and terrifying my family.

Granted the political reaction from the politicians in D. C. is indeed scary and threatens to further destabilize what is left of our republic with the ever more blunt weaponization of the state against political enemies of those in power.
In light of what has been happening over the last decade to the same effect (to include the IRS targeting scandal and the spying on Trumps 2016 campaign) that is hardly a new element but merely an acceleration of a pre-existing trend of political weaponization of the state leading to the further disenfranching and disillusioning both halves of the country with the idea of continued union.

Unfortunately the underlining problem that is really driving everything is the inability to respect each other's differences and leave one anther alone.
This of course is a direct result of the ideological extremism and political power lust of our leaders in Washington who have in the prior centuries of more cultural uniformity acquired power over almost everything and everyone in a government originally designed to give them almost no power over anything domestically. (Hence the ease by which it is now unaccountable sold to the highest bidder or most extreme faction)

As such we are forced to fight an ever higher stakes game to control everything with each election, and its only a mater of time before one side or the other decides they can't tolerate the idea of being lorded over in everything by the other.

So you tell me what will happen, and i will point you to every other such situation around the world and in our own history.

No, he could not. Because, fortunately, there are still sufficient members of the military who understand that their oath of office is to defend the constitution, not the president. There's a reason why the oaths are written like that, and it was precisely to stop people like Trump.

@goaded The trouble with the Federal military as Lincoln and many other presidents demonstrated is any officer that opposes the president can easily and swiftly be replaced with one who does.

This is why there is a 2 year funding limit clause in Article 1 section 8 clause 12 of the U. S. Constitution, and the only permanent army is the State militia who's officer appointment and training are reserved under Article 16 of the same Constitution to many different States.

If any president wanted to remain in office he could do so for almost 2 years using the army assuming a non-cooperative congress.

It turns out that this woman's "testimony" was all stuff she heard second and third hand. A real courtroom would never have allowed any of it. Since this is a fake trial that is being held just to try and keep President Trump from running in 2024 they can say anything they want whether it is true or not. The Secret Service agents have gone on record saying they will testify under oath what really happened in the limo that day. It is interesting that nobody wants to hear what they have to say,.

What's interesting is that there's no amount of evidence that would convince you that you're wrong about Trump.
Is also interesting that you're not talking about any of the other facts, that are now well established. Namely that he knew he lost, he knew he was breaking the law, he knew that the crowd was violent, he knew who they were a threat to, etc... and he did it all anyways.
It's interesting that you seem to have no problem with anything he did, or with him not being charged or impeached fully.

@RACSKC0B I watched the march on Jan6th. All I saw was President Trump addressing the crown and telling them to march peacefully and patriotically to the Capitol and let your voices be heard. He was not breaking the law unless it is against the law in this country to protest.
He did not lose the election, it was stolen. and there was a half million people in Washington that came in support of the President. He requested the have National Guard troops brought in 4 days before and Pelosi refused.
This so called hearing is nothing but a veiled attempt to prevent President Trump from running again in 2024. It is an embarrassment and will be remembered as such.
