You can get away with ALMOST ANYTHING in a society if you are either rich or considered highly attractive (but only if labeled or implied as so by the majority of your town) - or especially both. Not just people you're attracted to, but many others such as teachers, job coaches, managers, bosses, and many many others are specially trained to detect attractiveness in people whose roles are below theirs. Church leaders and police officers also do this on churchgoers and civilians, respectively.

Here's the whole "profanity" story I need to tell you everyone! So today I went to go volunteering, and right after that we got back in the car and a fellow participant uttered, "What the hell?" (twice) as she was talking to a fellow job coach while cruising on the freeway. The job coach (in her 50s or 60s?) that was driving asked him why he was "cussing" for; oh my goodness, I am literally shocked that people still unironically consider words like hell and damn swear words in this day and age. It is ironic AND hypocritical considering that the OTHER job coach (attractive, though I'm not attracted to him because I'm straight; he is in his 20s or 30s?) constantly said hell and damn for the first few hours and NEVER was he told off. Even another participant (a very young and attractive lady) said words like shit and fuck TO that same job coach and was NEVER told off. BUT, that same job coach was telling the uglier male participant that he needs to choose "better words". What dirty, disgusting HYPOCRITES!

I am technically considered average, although I have never uttered a single curse word or even one that is interpreted as one to a job coach because I didn't want to have my monetary reward points deducted. But still, I do not consider hell or damn a "curse word". If you do, I'm sorry but you're a complete sociopath. Even the President uses profane language that is even worse than those two words. Even grocery retails sell products like "Bitchin' Sauce". Dodge even sells cars and paint schemes with the word "Hell" in it. So what's the big fucking deal?

I do not believe in censorship. Capitalism is pro-cenorship of "unattractive" or "ugly" people. Not for the privileged like the alpha "Chad" or the majority of western females.

It's not necessary at all for him to care about curse words, it might be just a way to tell you off or measure your response to him telling you off.

I agree with your main points, and have always known this since I was young (I think most people know this), but I disagree with some things.

"Hell and damn" are some big f*cking swear words! They're all curse words. You can use them if you like, but they are curse words, regardless of origin. You're not supposed to say them around children, and the main reason is due to disrespect (not of religion, like originally, but to the person you're speaking to.) Would you really ask your boss "What the hell are you doing? Damn stupid-ass f*cker." There's level one curses; hell, damn. Level two curses, bitch, tits, dick, titties, nigga, etc. And level three curses; motherf*cker, sh*t, c*ck, f*ck, c*nt, n*gger, etc.

I wrote a MyTake about the origin of curse words in the past. I try not to curse in general (at least, the level three, most aggressive, fighting words), on GAG and real life, because it's self-aggression and bad mojo. Basically, it makes you angry for no reason. It's also just unprofessional and trashy. Hence, why I use the censored versions. I'd say it's more sociopathic to think it's okay to curse at young children. We'll agree to disagree on that one.

The other thing I disagree with, is you saying how you implying just be allowed to curse whenever you want, but also that only "special people" get to curse without it affecting their professionalism or public image. So I'm confused. Are you jealous that special people can "get away" with cursing without consequence, while uglier people (like you and I) are expected to "be more professional?" Does that mean, you just want to be like one of the special people, or that you just want everyone to be able to throw F and S bombs out, regardless of the environment. Cause that's how you end up with Idiocracy (not that we aren't already living in it).

My whole thing, like I said, is I'll only curse if I KNOW I'm pissed off. To me, nothing is more trashy than casual cursing. Which is what all the Amber Heards, Marshall Mathers, and Snoop Doggs of the world do, anyway. I don't want to be like most of them (though I'll take Em's talent), so I act slightly less trashy than that, even if I'm not exactly "PC" either.

Context matters. Hellcat isn't the same thing as saying "SHUT THE HELL UP!" Nigga isn't the same word as "n*gger." Without context, they're all just mouth sounds that mean nothing.

I've never heard of anything called "Bitchin' Sauce", but I think it's inappropriate. Even on ABC, they had that Krysten Ritter show called "Don't Trust The B---- in Apartment 23." It wasn't called "F*ck That Dumb B*tch in 23-B."
