To be fair ALM is kinda recent, but yeah I agree with what you said
Right i understand why you say this and maybe i agree, but you shouldn't have to put the word "too" at the endJust like you shouldn't have to put it at the end of "men get raped"It sounds pathetic and it sounds like a weak cry for help. The people who support BLM are angry and tired and they want justice, i think there is a slight difference
I totally understand the anger and longing for justice. I'm all for justice. I get the movement. The ALM backlash totally misses the point. It's like, yes all lives matter but we need to focus on a particular group because they are not treated like they're a part of "all lives". Right? The "too" is implied, just as the official website blacklivesmatter. com says. I wish more people realized it. Maybe "too" takes away a little of the bite of the catchphrase. What's more important? Letting people know you're angry or winning hearts and minds? I know that when I'm angry, I want people to know it. But ultimately, I want some behavior to change.
Wouldn't cacti be in favor OF being a prick?
@Octavius only some of them! As a cacti defender I feel offended by this generalisation 😤😛

"several members"...Several members of the republican party were believed to have ties to the KKK, that doesn't mean all republicans are racist and that you shouldn't vote for a republican because of that.Several members of the islamic religion are terrorists, that doesn't mean all muslims are terrorists.BLM isn't stating that black lives matter more than other lives, it's stating that black lives matter JUST AS MUCH. If they meant to say what you think they mean to say, don't u think they would yell "black lives matter more"
Yes, all lives do matter, but apparently the people who support the BLM movement feel that their lives don't matter as much to the rest of america as white people's lives do. The problem is that all lives should matter, but not all lives matter to many people in the US according to the BLM people, that's why they're trying to make those people realize that they are also important, they are also human and they also have the right to justice and life.
Face it, their lives don't matter to the "average American" as much as a cis, heterosexual, white, neurotypical white person's does. Anyone who isn't cishet, neurotypical and white doesn't matter as much
